Elec froze for a moment.
Not enough potential? What did that mean?
Jass might have been a loner with a strange temper, but he had the greatest talent in the history of the Heeters.
And now you're telling me he doesn't have enough potential?
Were there really that many powerful monsters in the universe now?
Elec's brow furrowed deeply.
If this wish couldn't be granted, what else could he wish for?
What wish could help him?
How could he restore the Heeters to greatness?
"Can you really not grant this wish? In other words, he can't become number one in the universe?" Elec asked, unwilling to give up, his voice full of hope.
Planet Cereal's Shenron fell silent for the span of two breaths, then slowly spoke again. "However, if you can accept one condition, he may still be able to become number one in the universe."
"What condition?" Elec gulped.
He could accept any condition if it meant restoring the Heeters to greatness.
Planet Cereal's Shenron said, "By squeezing out and condensing all the potential he would have over the rest of his life, his power could increase dramatically, making him the strongest in the universe for a short time..."
"Squeezing out all his remaining potential? What does that mean?" Elec's pupils visibly contracted. A possibility had occurred to him.
But if this could make Jass the strongest in the universe and restore the Heeters to greatness, it was no big deal.
Any sacrifice would be worth it.
Maki had guessed something too. Frowning, she asked, "You mean it'll shorten Jass's lifespan?"
Planet Cereal's Shenron said, "Correct. By shortening his lifespan and squeezing out his potential, it may be possible to make him the strongest in the universe!"
"How many years would he have left?" Elec asked.
"Two years."
