Granolah took a look and said, "Maybe I can fix it."
"Oh, sorry for the trouble." Son Gohan handed him the Scouter.
"Sure." Granolah took the Scouter back, then instructed his glasses-shaped robot, Oatmeel, to repair it.
In just a few breaths, Oatmeel successfully repaired the old Scouter.
He really knew his stuff!
Son Gohan took the Scouter, put it over his ear, and fiddled with it a few times as it beeped.

"My only reason for fighting is whether I want to beat the other guy to a pulp. That's all!"
"Whenever we Saiyans find ourselves in a desperate situation, we break through our limits and keep evolving, growing stronger with every fight."
There was also a recording of him making a wish to Planet Cereal's Shenron.
"If it's like wishing on a shooting star, then make this wish for me: let my sons grow up strong and healthy..."
