Trunks planted his sword in the ground and gripped the hilt with his right hand, using it to drag himself painfully to his feet.
He raised his head and looked toward Zamasu.
Tap, tap, tap-
Footsteps approached from afar, sounding as though a massive army was marching toward him.
Trunks's brow twitched.
"Cough, cough... Zamasu, you really are one stubborn monster." Trunks's voice was hoarse.
The sound drew closer.
Trunks gradually began to make out the figures.
A sea of heads, packed tightly together.

The overwhelming pressure was almost suffocating.
"Heh heh heh..." One of the Zamasus grinned.
Another Zamasu said, "Trunks, have you decided where you're going to run now?"
Trunks didn't answer. He merely pulled his sword from the ground and took a defensive stance.
"Heh heh. Die, Trunks," one Zamasu sneered.
The other Zamasus wore the same expression, then lunged at Trunks in unison.
Countless Zamasus swarmed toward him, seemingly intent on tearing him apart.
Whoosh!
The Zamasus hit empty air.
