But higher up, Son Gohan stood looking down at his son.
Son Wu had not noticed his father watching him, though. He was still searching everywhere for Son Gohan.
Watching Son Wu warily scan his surroundings, Son Gohan folded his arms and remarked, "Not bad, you little rascal. You've got a real talent for fighting."
Indeed, Son Wu's combat instincts were unexpectedly impressive. His fighting style was unpredictable, and he adapted exceptionally well. Son Gohan was very pleased.
Elsewhere on the ground.
Son Goten and Pan were whispering to each other.
Son Goten asked, "Pan, can you see where your dad is?"
Pan shook her head. "No. If someone as strong as Dad hides, how could we possibly find him?"
"True. Still, Little Wu is really amazing. This is my first time seeing him go all out," Son Goten said.
"Of course he is." Pan puffed out her chest, looking as proud as if Son Goten had been praising her.
"Pan, don't tell me you can turn into a Super Saiyan 3 too?" Son Goten asked again, seeing how proud she looked.
"No, I'm not as strong as my brother," Pan said.
Hearing her answer, Son Goten inwardly sighed in relief.
Whew, that was close!
Son Wu searched for quite a while but still found no trace of Son Gohan.
Suddenly, he felt the hairs on his back stand on end. Every cell in his body screamed a warning of danger.
Without hesitation, he twisted around and sent his fist hurtling out.
But it was already too late. At some point, Son Gohan's fingertip had come to rest against his forehead.
A bone-chilling cold swept through his body, instantly leaving him unable to move.
Son Wu let his Super Saiyan 3 transformation fade and returned to his normal form.
