The nutrient tank that had been used to cultivate the Golden Great Ape had already shattered.

Green genetic fluid had splashed all over the floor, leaving everyone with nowhere to stand.

Fortunately, the battle had already cracked the floor, allowing the genetic solution to seep underground. Otherwise, the laboratory would have become a swimming pool.

Everyone looked up at the enormous nutrient tank.

A red logo with white borders was still emblazoned on the broken glass.

Many of them found that logo very familiar.

The bow-shaped emblem was none other than the Red Ribbon Army's logo.

Trunks snorted. "Hmph, the Red Ribbon Army just won't give up. How many secret bases have they built behind our backs?"

There had been the base that cultivated Androids 16, 17, and 18, the base that cultivated Cell, and now this one. That made three already, and who knew whether there were more?

Was this ever going to end?

"Bzzzt!"

Just then, an electrical arc flashed from the Supercomputer in the middle of the laboratory.

The sudden noise startled everyone.

"Huh?" Trunks stared at the enormous computer and walked over across the sticky floor.

Among the crowd, an odd look also crossed Android 16's eyes.

Trunks reached the computer.

He crouched down and examined it carefully, then reached out and patted the screen.

Another spark flashed from the computer, and the screen flickered with it.

"Is it broken? Or did it run out of power?" Trunks asked.

He pulled over a chair, sat down in front of the computer, flipped a few switches, and began clacking away at the keyboard, trying to find the problem.

He was Bulma's son, after all.

Although he lacked Bulma's exceptional talent for technology, he had grown up surrounded by it and knew a thing or two about computers.
