Son Gohan froze.

It sounded as though this Grand Minister knew him.

With questions swirling in his mind, Son Gohan pushed the door open and entered.

Inside, the Grand Minister sat cross-legged on a meditation cushion.

It was a very familiar scene.

For a moment, Son Gohan felt as though he had returned to his own timeline.

"Come sit across from me," the Grand Minister said.

Once again, those words were very familiar.

Wasn't this exactly what happened the last time I met the Grand Minister?

It was practically identical.

The only difference was that Merus had been there last time.

Deeply puzzled, Son Gohan sat down across from the Grand Minister.

Before he could ask what was going on, the Grand Minister spoke, as though he had seen right through his thoughts.

"Don't be surprised. Yes, it's me."

Son Gohan's eyes widened in disbelief.

But he soon regained his composure.

He gave a wry smile. "You certainly caught me off guard. So, are you a clone, or is this the same body?"

The Grand Minister tapped the spot between his eyebrows. "It's the same body. When you entered my chambers, space-time overlapped, so this is the same place you visited last time."

"I see." Son Gohan nodded quietly.

No wonder he had sensed a subtle change earlier.

Something occurred to Son Gohan, and he asked with a trace of uncertainty, "Are you the same person across every timeline?"

"Yes." The Grand Minister nodded in answer.

"What about His Majesty Zeno?" Son Gohan looked toward Zeno's Palace.

"No, he's different," the Grand Minister said. "I serve several Zenos."

Son Gohan was speechless.

One Grand Minister, several Zenos.

From the looks of it, the Grand Minister was an even more unique being than Zeno.

But Son Gohan had overlooked one thing.
