Son Gohan couldn't help silently scoffing.
As if we'd let you plant it. That Tree of Might would drain the entire planet of its life energy. Once its fruit ripened, Earth would become a dead planet.
Turles continued, "His face was almost identical to mine. Clearly, he was a low-class warrior."
"But after fighting him, I discovered that his power level actually exceeded mine. How was that possible?"

At this point, Turles became visibly agitated.
He continued, "But that didn't matter. Once I ate the fruit of the Tree of Might, my power level would increase dozens of times over. Then I could easily defeat Kakarot."
"What I hadn't expected was just how many bizarre techniques that bastard Kakarot had."
"Even after I ate the fruit of the Tree of Might and my power level exceeded 300,000, he could use a technique that almost brought his power level up to mine. It shocked me."
"We were both low-class Saiyans, so why could Kakarot become so powerful while I could only rely on the fruit of the Tree of Might?"

"Then, when I woke up, I saw you two."
Turles fell silent.
Son Wu swallowed, then said, "Dad, does that mean he's been dead for decades? Did you meet him when you were little?"
Son Gohan frowned, searching his memories without saying a word.
