Everyone watching television was startled by Cell's sudden appearance.
At first, some thought it was a prank by a TV station.
But when they discovered that every channel was broadcasting the same thing live, they realized how serious the situation was.
The troubled Earth had welcomed yet another menace.
For a while, the entire world was in an uproar.
Some panicked, some cursed Cell for his arrogance, and others simply treated it as a spectacle.
All in all, however, Cell's announcement of his games had indeed attracted widespread attention across the globe.

"Sure, but you saw that last move of his, didn't you? He blasted straight through the building. He's definitely no ordinary person."
"Don't worry. Someone will take care of him."
"A monster. That's a monster. He looks like he eats people."
People everywhere were discussing Cell.

Videl asked, "What's wrong?"
Krillin pointed at the television.
"Only Pan should be there right now," Videl said.
"This arrogant guy is giving us nine days," Krillin said. "Who knows how he'll end up dying by then?"
Videl said, "It won't take nine days. I bet those little ones will go looking for trouble with him soon."
