After repeating the word three times, the Great Elder laughed heartily. Though Yechen had said nothing, his composure spoke for itself. Even Uchiha Fugaku could not have remained so calm under the pressure of his ocular power.
He knew full well that Yechen had awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan. Whether Yechen admitted it no longer mattered much.
The Great Elder looked at Yechen with growing appreciation. The Mangekyō Sharingan was immensely important to the Uchiha. Madara Uchiha had forged his legendary reputation with those very eyes.

As he spoke, the Great Elder opened a desk drawer, took out a token, and held it out to Yechen.
"This is an elder's token. Take it. From now on, the clan's secret archives are open to you, and you may browse them as you please. This is a reward you've earned."
"An elder's token?" Yechen was a little surprised. He had seemingly done nothing, yet he was already being granted the title of elder.
Although he had little interest in the title, he did know a thing or two about the Uchiha's secret archives.
The Secret Vault held secrets passed down through generations of Uchiha, including techniques exclusive to the Uchiha Clan.
For an Uchiha clan member, even a single visit to the Secret Vault required an outstanding contribution.
Yet from now on, he could visit as often as he wanted. He simply could not refuse access to the Uchiha's secret archives.
