Yechen waved a hand, and a table and two chairs appeared.
"Have a seat."
He had already made his power clear. Now it was time for a proper talk.
Naturally, Obito Uchiha did not dare sit down, afraid Yechen might pull another trick.
Yechen said nothing. He sat down on his own, raised his teacup, and took a sip of water before speaking.
"What brings you here this time?"
"I'm sure you've noticed that the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki is about to give birth. This is the best time to strike. If you want the Nine-Tails, you'd be better off working with us."
As Obito Uchiha spoke, faint spatial distortions appeared before him.
Inside this illusion, he had to remain on high alert. At the first sign of anything wrong, he would teleport away.
An illusion only interfered with the mind and vision. It could not actually change physical matter.
Besides, Obito also possessed the Mangekyō Sharingan. Even trapped in an illusion, seeing through it was no problem.
That made leaving easy enough for him.
But that also depended on whether Yechen intended to stop him. If Yechen truly acted, Obito would not even be able to open a teleportation passage, let alone escape with Kamui.

"Work together?"

"This is a major decision, after all. Give me a few days to think it over."
"All right. You're a smart man, and I hope you'll make a smart choice. I'll wait for your answer, but don't take too long."
With that, Obito Uchiha activated Kamui and entered the teleportation passage through the void.
