"Minato? Why are you back at this hour?" The red-haired woman was none other than the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki, Kushina!
"Kushina! Something big is about to happen!" Minato told her, looking flustered.
Kushina was puzzled. Konoha was so powerful now that even without its veteran powerhouses, it had nearly ten Kage Level fighters. If another war broke out in the Shinobi World, Konoha could take on all four other villages and still have a few powerhouses left standing around with nothing to do. What could possibly have Minato Namikaze this flustered?
"Minato, what's about to happen? Why are you so nervous?" Kushina asked in confusion.
Minato Namikaze said anxiously, "Come with me first! I'll explain everything once we get there!"
As he spoke, Minato Namikaze grabbed Kushina's arm, ready to take her away with Flying Thunder God!
"Hold on!" Kushina pulled free of his grip. "You're just going to take me away like this? Leaving our son here alone would be dangerous! Give me a moment!"
Minato Namikaze grew anxious, but he didn't dare hurry Kushina along. After all, even he couldn't handle her when she lost her temper!
After leaving the Hokage Building, Hatake Ziyan appeared directly in Hiruzen Sarutobi's courtyard!
Hiruzen Sarutobi was sitting on a little chair beside the courtyard pond, holding a fishing rod!
Hatake Ziyan appeared directly behind him!
"Little Monkey!" Hatake Ziyan called.
Hiruzen Sarutobi had been fishing leisurely, but Hatake Ziyan's sudden voice startled him. The fishing rod slipped from his hand and fell into the water!
Hiruzen Sarutobi didn't turn around immediately. He quietly composed himself before turning to look at Hatake Ziyan behind him.
"Lord Ziyan? Is there something you need from me?" Hiruzen Sarutobi stood and asked respectfully.
