A full fifteen minutes passed before Asuma came to his senses. Ignoring the scroll that had fallen to the floor, he hurriedly picked up another and opened it.
"Impossible! Impossible! How could my father have done these things?!"

Asuma rapidly leafed through one scroll after another, growing more frantic with every one he read.
After going through all the scrolls on the table, Asuma took a dazed step backward, trod on the scroll he had dropped earlier, and fell onto his backside.
Asuma hit the floor hard, but showed no reaction. He simply sat there in a stupor!
He kept muttering things like, "Impossible!" and "It's fake!"
Then Asuma abruptly sprang to his feet, swept all the scrolls he had left scattered across the table onto the floor, and rapidly formed hand seals, intending to use fire release to burn them all.
Just then, a yellow flash appeared, and a hand clamped down on Asuma's hands!
"Asuma, you promised me you wouldn't destroy these!" Minato Namikaze said, holding Asuma's hands and interrupting his ninjutsu.
With his nearly completed ninjutsu interrupted, Asuma ignored Minato Namikaze, shoved him away, and prepared to form hand seals again.
Feeling rather helpless, Minato Namikaze could only hurry forward, grab Asuma's shoulder with his left hand, and form a seal with his right. He took Asuma straight out of the basement and to Konoha's No. 3 Training Ground!
The two had only just appeared at No. 3 Training Ground when Asuma finished his seals and unleashed his ninjutsu.
