Yan froze, then looked at Hatake Ziyan. "Are you saying your clone was responsible for what happened in Takigakure just now?"
Hatake Ziyan stopped and turned to look at Yan. "What do you mean? That I sent a clone ahead to destroy Takigakure, then brought you there? Am I that stupid? Besides, they never did anything to offend me! Why would I do that?"
"True!" Yan nodded.
"Why would you ask that? Do you really see me as someone who slaughters innocent people?" Hatake Ziyan gave Yan a puzzled look.
Yan had followed him for so long and knew him reasonably well. Why would Yan ask something like that?
But Hatake Ziyan couldn't be bothered to dwell on it or waste brain cells figuring it out. He headed toward the Stone Ninja Village.
Outside the Stone Ninja Village, atop a tall mountain!
Hatake Ziyan and Yan stood side by side, looking at the distant Stone Ninja Village!
"What's going on? Why are people fighting inside the Stone Ninja Village?" Hatake Ziyan watched the distant village, where explosions rang out from time to time and clouds of dust rose into the air.
"Exactly! Who would dare fight them inside the Stone Ninja Village? Isn't that just asking to die?" Yan chimed in beside him.
"We'll find out if we go take a look! I'll break up the fight while I'm at it! Let's see if this old face of mine still carries any weight!" Hatake Ziyan said casually. Then he pushed off the ground and vanished!
Yan didn't follow him. Instead, Yan stood there with an eerie smile, then turned and left!
