Hatake Ziyan's last slash had failed to hit Jigen (Isshiki) in front of him. That should never have happened! Isshiki currently had less than half his true body's power. How could he possibly have dodged that strike?
Jigen turned to look at Hatake Ziyan. A glass of red wine appeared in his hand, and he raised it toward Hatake Ziyan before draining it in one gulp and casually tossing the glass aside!
Watching Jigen's provocation, Hatake Ziyan's eyes blazed with fury. If one strike can't kill you, then I'll use ten, a hundred!
Hatake Ziyan held his sword in his right hand and opened his left, summoning a golden saber into his grasp.
"Hundred Swords Without a Trace-Ten Blades Break the Limit!"
Hatake Ziyan's icy voice rang out as hundreds of streams of Sword Energy and Sword Aura shot forth!
Jigen suddenly smiled and waved at Hatake Ziyan. A spatial passage swiftly opened behind him, and he leaped straight into it just before the Sword Energy and Sword Aura reached him!
Hundreds of streams of Sword Aura and Sword Energy instantly engulfed the spot where Jigen had stood. The entire area was obliterated, and even space itself fractured with cracks.
"Huff! Huff! Huff!" Hatake Ziyan took several quick breaths, calming his agitated heart.
Suddenly finding the man who had ambushed him had stirred Hatake Ziyan's emotions. Now that Jigen had left, he calmed down.
Jigen had probably dodged his attack by activating Sukunahikona just before the blade struck, shrinking Jigen's body and then quickly restoring it!
(Sukunahikona apparently cannot shrink living beings other than Isshiki himself! I've made a slight adjustment here, assuming that Jigen, whom Isshiki controls, can grow and shrink!)
