Juzo Biwa frowned at Guy's sudden surge in strength, then said, "Now this is getting interesting. But none of you are getting away!"
Juzo Biwa caught the Kubikiribōchō that Guy had kicked back at him, strode forward, and slashed at Guy again.
Guy reacted swiftly, jumping backward to dodge the slash. Then he pushed off the ground and vanished.
"What?" Juzo Biwa was startled. He hadn't expected Might Guy to be so fast.
Still, he was an elite jonin with countless battles under his belt. He immediately spotted Guy and held the Kubikiribōchō across his left side.
Guy appeared on Juzo Biwa's left and brought his foot down, only for the Kubikiribōchō to block his kick!
Bang!
The collision rang out with a tremendous crash. Guy's strike sent Juzo Biwa skidding more than ten meters across the ground before he finally stopped.
Juzo Biwa shook out his arms, which had gone numb from the impact. Watching Guy vanish again, he slung the Kubikiribōchō onto his back and rapidly formed hand seals.
Guy couldn't afford to worry about anything else. Every moment he could hold them off counted!
Seeing Juzo Biwa forming hand seals, Might Guy didn't hesitate. He rushed straight up to him and kicked at his head.
Juzo Biwa didn't dodge. Instead, an eerie smile spread across his face. Guy tried to pull back his attack at the sight, but it was already too late.
Under Might Guy's kick, Juzo Biwa's head burst apart, scattering countless droplets of water!
That was right-countless droplets of water! Juzo Biwa's hand seals had activated a Water Clone. What Might Guy had kicked was merely his Water Clone.
Guy wanted to escape immediately, but he was still in midair with nothing to push off against.
Just then, the collapsing Water Clone rapidly wrapped around Might Guy, forming a huge sphere of water that trapped him inside.
Juzo Biwa appeared beside the sphere, pressed one hand against the water surrounding Guy, and watched him with a smile.
"Juzo, stop playing around! Those other two are getting away!" said Hozuki Mangetsu, who had been the first to speak earlier.
"I know! What a pain!" Juzo Biwa replied irritably.
Juzo Biwa took the Kubikiribōchō off his back, thrust it into the sphere, and sliced toward Guy's neck.
Might Guy struggled ceaselessly inside the water. Watching Juzo Biwa's movements, he steeled himself and crossed his arms in front of his face again, intending to activate the Eight Gates of the Gate once more, open the Gate of Limit, and break free.
Juzo Biwa frowned as Guy assumed that stance again, and his blade moved faster.
Just then, a shuriken appeared behind Juzo Biwa. Right before it struck him, he swung his sword hand backward, knocking the kunai away, then swiftly slashed at Guy again.
"Gate of Limit, open!"
Guy opened another gate. His enormous chakra burst straight through the water sphere, and he quickly darted backward, dodging Juzo Biwa's massive blade.
The other six looked toward the direction the shuriken had come from, wanting to see who had thrown the kunai.
Juzo Biwa knew he didn't need to worry about the newcomer. Looking at Guy, who had broken free of his water sphere technique, he laughed with delight. "I never expected you to be a taijutsu genius! Just thinking about cutting down a genius like you makes me happy!"
Just as Juzo Biwa prepared to attack again, Hozuki Mangetsu noticed something unusual about the kunai from earlier and immediately shouted, "Juzo! Get back!"
Juzo Biwa turned toward Hozuki Mangetsu in displeasure. "What are you talking about? I'm just about to finish him... argh!"
Before Juzo Biwa could finish, a searing pain tore through him! He looked down and found that an oddly shaped kunai had pierced his heart.
Juzo Biwa turned his head with difficulty and saw a blond-haired man standing behind him.
The newcomer was Minato Namikaze, who had rushed over. Without Might Guy and the others' precise location, he hadn't been able to find them immediately. It was only when Guy activated the Eight Gates of the Gate that Minato Namikaze located them.
Fortunately, he hadn't arrived too late, and he had saved Might Guy!
Minato Namikaze forcefully pulled his kunai out of Juzo Biwa. Watching the six men opposite him, he told Guy behind him, "Deactivate the Eight Gates of the Gate now! Go rest off to the side! Leave the rest to me!"
"The Yellow Flash!" Hozuki Mangetsu said, watching Minato Namikaze warily.
The others also looked somewhat tense at the sight of Minato Namikaze, but Raiga Kurosuki said excitedly, "Mangetsu, if we kill him, won't that count as completing our mission?"
Hozuki Mangetsu had no such intention. He told the remaining men, "Don't even think about killing him. We retrieve the Kubikiribōchō and retreat!"
Raiga Kurosuki didn't care in the slightest. "Mangetsu, since when did you become so cautious? The Yellow Flash may be strong, but we're no pushovers either. I'm sure killing him would be a painful blow to Konoha!"
With that, Raiga Kurosuki drew the Twin Blades from his back and jumped down. Pointing his blades at Minato Namikaze, he said, "Every ninja village says you can abandon your mission if you encounter the Yellow Flash. I don't believe you're that strong!"
After speaking, Raiga Kurosuki rapidly gathered a tremendous amount of lightning in the Twin Blades. He pointed them skyward, and a bolt of lightning appeared out of nowhere, crashing down toward Minato Namikaze.
"Raiga! We attack together, retrieve the Kubikiribōchō, and retreat!" Hozuki Mangetsu said as he jumped down as well.
The other five didn't object and jumped down after him.
Minato Namikaze threw a shuriken, dodging as he formed hand seals. "Ninja Art: Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique!"
As Minato Namikaze's words fell, the single flying shuriken multiplied into countless copies, hurtling toward Raiga and the remaining six.
Hozuki Mangetsu's eyes narrowed at the sight of the countless kunai. Blocking the incoming weapons as he fled backward, he shouted, "Forget the Kubikiribōchō! Retreat!"
Raiga Kurosuki said dismissively, "What are you afraid of? Watch this!"
Raiga Kurosuki crossed his blades and was just about to unleash a ninjutsu when he realized that Minato Namikaze had disappeared from in front of him!
A second later, Raiga Kurosuki regretted his rashness. Just like Juzo Biwa before him, a kunai had pierced his heart.
The remaining men no longer cared about the ninja blade and fled backward at top speed.
But no matter how fast they ran, how could they outrun Flying Thunder God? Especially now, with Flying Thunder God Kunai scattered all over the ground.
As Minato Namikaze flickered from place to place, two more fell before they could even react. At that moment, Suikazan Fuguki turned and rapidly formed hand seals.
"Water Release: Great Waterfall Technique!"
"Water Release: Violent Water Shockwave!"
The two large-scale Water Release techniques swept away every Flying Thunder God Kunai on the ground.
