The others also voiced their agreement one after another!
Minato Namikaze saw that practically everyone had agreed. Only Mitokado Homura and Hiruzen Sarutobi had yet to state their positions.
But that no longer mattered. Hiruzen Sarutobi and Mitokado Homura had already lost everyone's trust. Even Sarutobi's supporters had been scared off by his actions. With most people in favor, the outcome was already settled!
Seeing how things stood, Minato Namikaze was delighted. Without anyone holding him back, he could finally give his all to developing Konoha!
"Good! Since most of the higher-ups support abolishing the position of Hokage Advisor, I hereby declare that, effective immediately, Konoha will abolish the position of Hokage Advisor Elder!" Minato Namikaze announced, giving Hiruzen Sarutobi no chance to argue.
Seeing that the outcome was settled, that everything they had worked toward over the years had come to nothing, and that no one would follow them anymore, Hiruzen Sarutobi and Mitokado Homura slumped into their seats!
"Although the position of Hokage Advisor Elder has been abolished, we still need to establish a new Decision-Making Council for Konoha's sake, to guard against the Hokage overlooking something in major matters! As for how many members this council should have and how it should make decisions, that will require everyone's discussion!" Seeing that abolishing the advisor elders was a foregone conclusion, Danzo revealed his ultimate objective!
