The golden runes on the water arrow erupted with sunlight-bright radiance. It carried no searing heat, but a sacred presence that pierced the soul and purified all things! The Sacred Lord's black energy sphere spun wildly, trying to devour and corrode every trace of light, exuding nauseating despair and deathly stillness!
The two diametrically opposed forces, utterly incompatible in nature, locked together in midair, eroding and canceling each other out!

A faint cracking sound rang out! Beneath the golden runes' radiance, countless hairline fractures appeared across the black energy sphere! Before the combined power of purification and the soul, the darkness that could devour even light seemed to have met its natural nemesis and began steadily losing ground!
"Impossible! What is this power?!" the Sacred Lord shrieked in disbelief. He could feel the power he had painstakingly cultivated-a fusion of negative energy and some forbidden entity-being rapidly purified and dismantled by that seemingly delicate water arrow! Even the sliver of a soul connection he had hidden within its core was violently shaken!

Golden flames seemed to burn in Ling's eyes. Pouring every last ounce of his will into it, he issued his final command!
