To Su Jiu's surprise, the entrance that had looked pitch-black from above opened onto an entirely different world below.

The instant her feet touched the ground, a soft "poof" sounded along the surrounding walls.

As though sensing the sudden arrival of a visitor, the candlesticks around her lit themselves.

They did not light all at once, however, but gradually, one after another.

From near to far, in barely a dozen breaths, they illuminated the entire space as brightly as daylight.

Su Jiu stared, momentarily stunned, at the space revealed by the candlelight.

While she stood there in a daze, Yun Huanling's wail rang out overhead.

"A Jiu! Don't forget about me! I'm still up here! I don't have any spiritual qi now. If I jump from this high up, I'll cripple myself!"

Su Jiu snapped out of her daze and cast a cool glance at Yun Huanling, who was shouting down at her.

For some inexplicable reason, Yun Huanling detected a trace of disdain in that cool look.

Before he could ponder it further, however, Su Jiu suddenly flew back up.

The next instant, she hooked his arm and jumped down with him.

Without spiritual power to keep him steady, even Yun Huanling turned a little green at that moment. He glanced at Su Jiu's still cool, composed face and felt reassured. Surely that disdain had only been his imagination.

Soon, however, he stopped thinking about such irrelevant things.

Just as Su Jiu had when she first saw this space, Yun Huanling froze where he stood.

His pupils widened slightly, and his voice sounded strained. "These are all the sections of the Death Star Map?!"

The space was small, but its walls were covered in star maps. Yes, painted maps, not engraved ones.

The stars were painted in rough strokes.
