These ships had always been the private property of the Mo Household and the Yun Household, and the enforcers aboard were servants the two households had stationed on the Azure Mist Continent.
Their relationship was that of masters and servants.
Under normal circumstances, members of the Mo Household and the Yun Household traveled through their exclusive Teleportation Arrays. This time, however, Mo Zhu had decided on a whim to take his young nephew home by ship. Perhaps they would even stumble across something entertaining.
Instead of anything entertaining, they had encountered the passengers of Ship Two. At the time, he had been looking out from the wheelhouse. Sure enough, fewer than a third of that ship's passengers seemed to remain, and they were all in tatters, clearly having suffered serious injuries.
Not long afterward, his nephew Mo Yan had entered the wheelhouse and dragged him away, briefly explaining what had happened on deck as they went. What surprised him was that the one involved was that little girl.
Thinking about it now, over three thousand people were still quite a crowd. Naturally, Mo Zhu had not inspected them one by one, so he had never noticed Su Jiu boarding.
He loosened his grip, nearly sending the enforcer whose wrist he had been holding tumbling to the deck.
The enforcer's face shifted through colors like a painter's palette.
In the end, he was the first to drop to his knees, looking aggrieved.
Su Jiu had the distinct feeling that a familiar routine was about to play out again.
"Master Mo, this girl started causing trouble the moment she boarded. Just look at my younger brother's face." As he spoke, he pulled the man Su Jiu had struck a little farther forward.
The man immediately shrank back when he saw Mo Yan.
