Just as she had expected, the ice stone did indeed contain a cultivation method. More precisely, it was a piece of ice jade.
The cultivation method bore a name that suited the ice jade: "Jade Moisture, Ice Clarity."
Su Jiu held the ice jade, threads of coolness seeping from it as she extended her divine sense inside. Only after a long while did the contents of "Jade Moisture, Ice Clarity" appear in her mind.
Unlike other cultivation methods, this one did not impart everything at once. Instead, it was divided into the Jade Moisture Chapter and the Ice Clarity Chapter. Su Jiu discovered that, apart from its title, the contents of the Ice Clarity Chapter were sealed away as though shrouded in mist.
Very little of the Jade Moisture Chapter was visible either. Only the first stage was recorded; everything beyond that seemed to be sealed behind mist, completely hidden.
There were also some instructions to read before cultivating. Rather than instructions, though, Su Jiu felt their tone made them more of a veiled warning.
"Only those with a single ice spiritual root of at least ninety-percent aptitude may cultivate this method. Otherwise, bear the consequences yourself."
Su Jiu was inwardly speechless. These requirements were harsh indeed. Even setting aside the element of a cultivator's spirit root, roots with ninety-percent aptitude were already as rare as phoenix feathers and unicorn horns in the cultivation world. It was no exaggeration to say that cultivators with multiple spirit roots of ninety-percent aptitude were even fewer than those with a single spirit root, let alone those with a single ice spiritual root of ninety-percent aptitude.
Su Jiu sat cross-legged on the ice bed. After memorizing the first stage of the Jade Moisture Chapter, she closed her eyes and began cultivating.
