If Su Jiu and Yin Yin were each surrounded by a dozen or so people or ghosts attacking them,
then Yin Ze was surrounded by dozens of demons.
When the auction descended into utter chaos, these demons revealed their tails. They were, unmistakably, foxes from Thousand Fox Mountain as well.
Unlike Yin Ze, however, they belonged to the Three-Tail Clan, a race condemned to serve as slaves to the nine-tailed foxes for generation after generation.
Yet since the great war ten thousand years ago, the Nine-Tailed Tribe and Six-Tailed Tribe had suffered devastating casualties and grown weaker by the day. This had gradually fed the ambitions of the Three-Tailed Fox Demons.
Originally, they had intended to proceed slowly. After all, few members of the Nine-Tailed Celestial Fox lineage remained, some had vanished to who knew where, and those left were old, weak, ill, or crippled. The Three-Tail Clan thought that if they quietly disposed of these nine-tailed foxes, Thousand Fox Mountain would be theirs.
But just as they were about to act, Silver Snow returned.
The Three-Tail Clan knew a little about Silver Snow. He belonged to the direct line of the Nine-Tailed Celestial Foxes and had been no more than a little fox ten thousand years ago. Many foxes had once believed he had died in that great war. Who could have imagined that he would actually return alive?
After returning, Silver Snow took charge of all the Nine-Tailed Tribe's affairs and naturally became the master of Thousand Fox Mountain.
His subsequent actions left the Three-Tail Clan unable to sit still any longer. After all, the fat morsel already within their grasp had slipped away. If they could still sit calmly after that, they would truly have been saints.
Thus, they secretly launched a hunting plan behind the scenes.
