After taking one Great Restoration Pill each month, along with various pills for repairing her divine sense, she had finally recovered completely.
Su Jiu counted the days. There were roughly two months left before the banquet, and she wondered whether she still had time to investigate her origins.
As soon as Su Jiu emerged, the Ice-Congealing Beast rushed toward her like a gust of wind.
With a faint smile, Su Jiu caught it in her arms.
"Have you gotten fatter again?"
The Ice-Congealing Beast's happiness was instantly doused with a bucket of cold water. It wanted nothing to do with this heartless woman now!
With that thought, it took two steps back.
It stamped its forehooves against the icy ground in utter displeasure.
Su Jiu pulled an Ice Fruit from her Storage Ring and held it on her palm.
The Ice-Congealing Beast stared fixedly at the Ice Fruit in Su Jiu's palm, seemingly debating whether to forgive this woman for what she had just done to it.
Su Jiu's smile widened a little. With mischievous delight, she took another Ice Fruit from her Storage Ring.

But not only did it fail to get a third Ice Fruit, the other two vanished from Su Jiu's hand as well.
A trace of regret entered Su Jiu's voice. "If you don't like them, forget it."
The Ice-Congealing Beast finally panicked. Forgetting its anger, it hurried over to Su Jiu and stared at her palm, as though asking, Where are my fruits?
