With a trace of puzzlement, Su Jiu asked, "What would happen if this formation were accidentally broken?"
Bai Lineage Zi smiled. "That depends on which formation you break. If it's the Sixth-Rank Formation at the very bottom of the center, even the immortals couldn't save us. If it's one of the Minor Formations at the edge, it would only open a small gap in the whole, and the Sixth-Rank Formation would quickly heal that gap. The Minor Formations also repair their own damaged sections automatically."
Su Jiu pondered this. It explained why a Nightmare Beast's avatar had escaped when Liu Xing'er and her group came to do this work.
In other words, even if the formation had been damaged, it would look perfectly intact after some time spent repairing itself.
"If it's this fragile, couldn't the Nightmare Beast inside break through and escape?"
Bai Lineage Zi cleared up her confusion. "One layer inside is an Anti-Demon-Power Formation. The beast can't even touch it, so naturally it can't break out."
