Meanwhile, in the Sabaody Archipelago, Area 43, the local specialties and tourism district.
Bustling crowds, colorful bubbles, and unusual wares from all over the world made the area exceptionally lively.
Yet amid all that bustle, two figures looked distinctly out of place.
Bartholomew Kuma's massive frame nearly filled the specially made bench. Sitting quietly with a Bible in his hands, he stood in stark contrast to the cheerful crowds flowing around him.
Beside him, Enel sat with an irritated expression, his legs crossed and his Golden Staff resting casually against his shoulder.
Bored out of his mind, he scanned the mortals around him, whom he considered "inferior" and "noisy."
"Hey, big guy." Unable to hold back any longer, Enel poked Kuma's arm with his Golden Staff.
"Do we really have to sit here waiting? This god's time is precious!"
At Enel's words, Kuma slowly withdrew his gaze from a distant shop packed with all sorts of plush toys, especially bear-shaped ones.
He turned his head slightly, lowering his eyes toward the hot-tempered "god" beside him.
When Enel saw him look over, he instinctively turned into lightning and darted away. Only when Kuma made no further move did he breathe a sigh of relief and flash back.
"No need to be so nervous. We're already at Sabaody."
That only made Enel angrier. He snapped his eyes up and demanded,
"Me, nervous? You don't know why I'm so nervous? Doesn't your conscience bother you?
"Damn it, on the way here, you tried to smack this god's head with that lousy palm of yours a hundred and twenty times!
"If I didn't have quick reflexes and strong Observation Haki, and couldn't turn into lightning to get away, wouldn't you have succeeded?!
"You're going to explain yourself today! What are you trying to do?!"
