At a ventilation opening to the left, Van Augur slipped out soundlessly, cradling his Sniper Rifle. His dead-fish eyes seemed indifferent to everything, while his muzzle pointed almost casually toward Aramaki.
In a corner piled with discarded parts on the right, Jesus Burgess clenched his fists, making his knuckles crack with a teeth-grating sound. He opened his mouth wide in a belligerent grin.
At the far end of the passage behind him, cold air spread outward. Kuzan stood leaning against the wall, hands in his pockets, his face expressionless.
Beside him, "Curse Doctor" Samuel Kronos fiddled with mycelium, his eerie green eyes watching Aramaki with interest through his mask.
