Kin'emon sought Gern’s promise to help Wano Country, then revealed Momonosuke’s identity and the Kozuki clan’s prophecy. Gern made clear he intended to conquer Wano for himself, seized Momonosuke, and had Enel incapacitate Kin'emon.

• Kin'emon asked Gern whether he and the Marines would help Wano Country, and Gern firmly agreed.
