Ch. 62"Yo, long time no see."

El and Huo Yutong were invited to attend a Sea God Pavilion Meeting, where a mysterious white light transported them inside and revealed a strange, wounded man seated at its head. The man greeted El as though they had met before.

  • Mu En reflected on Shrek Academy's growing influence and explained that the Dragon God bloodline had hidden itself to avoid being targeted.
  • Mu En invited El to attend the upcoming Sea God Pavilion Meeting and told him he could bring Huo Yutong.
  • A week later, Yan Shaozhe escorted El and Huo Yutong to the Sea God Pavilion for the meeting.
  • The Pavilion shone with an unfamiliar white light that left Yan Shaozhe powerless and transported the three inside.
  • El and Huo Yutong found the elders standing tensely around Mu En and a wounded, black-haired man, who greeted El with, "Yo, long time no see."

Ch. 63Turning point

A future version of El appeared before the Sea God Pavilion elders, killed them and restored them, then waited for El to arrive. He warned El that defeating Sea God Tang San would not be enough because Creator God Tang San would emerge and could only be challenged through authority.

  • The Origin God appeared through a white gateway in the Sea God Pavilion and took the head seat, displacing Mu En.
  • When the elders reacted, the Origin God killed everyone except Mu En with a snap, then reversed time and brought them back to life.
  • The elders recognized the Origin God’s overwhelming power and remained silent as he waited for El.
  • El arrived with two others, and the Origin God said he had been killed after defeating Sea God Tang San in three punches.
  • The Origin God warned that the next opponent was Creator God Tang San, whose authority could overpower their original plan.

Ch. 64[Creator God · Tang San]

The God of Origin explained that Creator God · Tang San’s ordained timeline would absorb their worldline unless they changed history enough to break away from it. El learned that killing Tang San at this point was their only chance to make their timeline independent.

  • The God of Origin revealed that Tang San was destined to become the Omnipotence God, prompting El to abandon the idea of surrendering.
  • The God of Origin explained that their worldline would merge with Tang San’s unless they disrupted the original storyline, while killing Sea God Tang San would trigger Creator God Tang San’s correction mechanism.
  • El considered sleeping until a later era to avoid Tang San, but the God of Origin said that would not work and insisted this was their only chance.
  • The God of Origin said they needed to kill Tang San now to make their worldline independent, since other eras offered no viable opportunity.
  • El nearly named the dangerous combination of Tang San and the Son of Light, but the God of Origin sealed his mouth and warned that saying the name would doom them.

Ch. 65Origin God: Shrek Is Yours

El learned that Heaven’s Will had tampered with his origins as Alatreon, while his new Safi’jiiva identity might let him escape Tang San’s control. Origin God urged him to visit Dragon Valley at six rings, offered Mu En a contract, and revealed that Tang San’s mother was using the Golden Tree’s imprisoned souls for her plan.

  • El learned that Heaven’s Will had split Alatreon’s origins to prevent him from becoming a complete outsider who could threaten Tang San’s plans.
  • Origin God told El to visit Dragon Valley at six rings, where their elder brother was waiting with something left for him.
  • Origin God’s grief caused the Sea God Pavilion elders to die, but he revived them and then offered Mu En a contract with healing, martial-soul advancement, and a chance at a White Dragon divine position.
  • Origin God showed Mu En the souls imprisoned inside the Golden Tree, including generations of Sea God Pavilion masters and elders.
  • Origin God revealed that Blue Silver Emperor Ah Yin was hiding in the Golden Tree and planned to replace the plane seed, using the souls as resources against the nature core.

Ch. 66Super Divine Artifact-The Sapphire Star That Guides the Way

Mu En pledged himself to the God of Origin, who began transforming him, while El learned why the god could not directly eliminate his enemies. The God of Origin gave El the Sapphire Star That Guides the Way, leaving him with tools to measure worldline divergence and construct things using earth vein power.

  • Mu En pledged his loyalty to the God of Origin, signed a contract that would last until Tang San's death, and began his transformation.
  • The God of Origin revealed that Qian Renxue's remains and fragments of the Angel Godhood lay beneath the Golden Tree, but said he lacked the Authority to retrieve them or kill the Blue Silver Emperor and Tang Hao.
  • The God of Origin explained that El needed to judge beings by their Authority rather than combat strength, then gave him the Sapphire Star That Guides the Way.
  • El learned that the artifact measured his worldline's compatibility with the original at 87.235%, and the God of Origin said it needed to fall below 25% to give them a chance against the Creator God.
  • El discovered that the artifact could use earth vein power to construct things, while the God of Origin warned that it could not create impossible powers such as omniscience, causality, or anti-creation.

Ch. 67El: I'm about to start playing in creative mode

After the Origin God vanished, El reconsidered his plans with the Command Block and learned that Heaven’s Will had influenced Huo Yutong and others. He left the Sea God Pavilion with Huo Yutong to devise an infrastructure-focused plan, considering whether to establish a Shrek Empire.

  • The Origin God gave El a Command Block, then returned briefly to protect Huo Yutong, Little Shui, and others from Heaven’s Will before vanishing completely.
  • El realized Heaven’s Will had influenced Huo Yutong and the Water Dragon King during the Freshman Assessment, and comforted Huo Yutong by assuring her it was not her fault.
  • El told the Sea God Pavilion elders to resume their usual duties and asked Mu En to put him on this year’s tournament main team.
  • Mu En asked when El would act against the Blue Silver Emperor and whether the pavilion’s name would change; El said they would wait until he had six rings and could expose Tang San’s crimes first.
  • El and Huo Yutong left the Sea God Pavilion and returned to the library study room as El began considering whether a Shrek Empire could work.

Ch. 68El: Hey! Aren't There Two Perfect Test Subjects Right Here?

El planned to alter the world's future by supporting Shrek and redirecting key figures' destinies, while he and his allies considered replacing some Godhood Fragments inside the Golden Tree. The chapter ended with the Water Dragon King questioning whether their plan could avoid awakening the Blue Silver Emperor.

  • El drafted a plan to prevent Sun Moon from unifying the continent, build up Shrek and other sects, and establish the Soul Hall to promote a new cultivation system.
  • El decided to use Sapphire Star's guiding power to rewrite Zhou Yi's fate and offer Ma Xiaotao a chance to undergo Phoenix Nirvana, with godhood as her possible reward.
  • El summoned Electrolux to discuss removing some Godhood Fragments from the Golden Tree to weaken the Blue Silver Emperor.
  • The Water Dragon King proposed replacing the fragments with shells filled with energy from Electrolux and the Fire Dragon King, but worried the swap might awaken the Blue Silver Emperor.

Ch. 69El: Little Gold, Time to Step Up

El planned to use the Golden Tree and Electrolux to deceive and attack the Blue Silver Emperor, then showed Electrolux the story of his future. Wang Yan arrived to ask about the Sea God Pavilion, and El and Huo Yutong left with a reminder to catch up on class notes.

  • El proposed having the Golden Tree steal godhood fragments and replacing them with fakes containing Electrolux's soul fragment and power of death.
  • El gave Electrolux the story of the God of Emotion in Peerless Tang Sect, revealing how his future ended.
  • Wang Yan rushed into the library and eagerly asked El what the Sea God Pavilion was like.
  • El described the Sea God Pavilion as welcoming and beautiful, and Wang Yan excitedly reminisced about Shrek and its library.
  • Wang Yan told El and Huo Yutong to borrow notes and catch up on missed lessons, and El wondered if the Sapphire Star could make a copy.

Ch. 70A day in Zhou Yi's life

Zhou Yi brooded over her rapid aging, dismissal from Shrek Academy, and loss of status while Fan Yu tried to persuade her to take a teaching job elsewhere and acknowledge her wrongdoing. The chapter ended with Zhou Yi accusing Fan Yu of conspiring with Mu Jin to abandon her.

  • Zhou Yi smashed her mirror and lamented that she had become an aged, disfigured woman and had been fired from her clerical job at Shrek Academy.
  • Zhou Yi recalled accusing El of using Evil Soul Master methods to drain her vitality, but the academy dismissed her complaint and warned her against making accusations.
  • Fan Yu entered, cleaned the room, and urged Zhou Yi to stop isolating herself.
  • Fan Yu offered Zhou Yi a teaching job at another academy, with restrictions on her training methods and expulsions.
  • Zhou Yi insisted she had done nothing wrong except lose to El, and Fan Yu rebuked her for refusing to make amends.
  • After Fan Yu mentioned Mu Jin, Zhou Yi accused him of joining with Mu Jin to abandon her, and Fan Yu called her unreasonable.

Ch. 71El: Wow, there's a new character, too

After Fan Yu left her, Zhou Yi accepted an invitation from a covert Holy Spirit Cult group in Shrek City, while El used his notebook to plan her death. Xiao Xiao then pulled El away from the library to join their friends, and he teased her about Huo Yutong.

  • Fan Yu stormed out, and Zhou Yi brooded over his rejection and her hatred of Mu Jin.
  • Zhou Yi found a letter inviting her to meet a group promising to restore her cultivation and extend her vitality.
  • Zhou Yi arrived at a cultivation-medicine shop in disguise and confronted the shopkeeper about the presence of Evil Soul Masters in Shrek City.
  • El discovered the Holy Spirit Cult's covert presence and wrote a plan for Mu Jin and Fan Yu to kill Zhou Yi.
  • Xiao Xiao interrupted El in the library and dragged him toward a banquet, where she hoped to spend time alone with him.
  • El teased Xiao Xiao about Huo Yutong and suggested she would be in trouble if Huo Yutong caught her trying to steal him.

Ch. 72Dual C4 installation in progress...

El, Wang Dong'er, Xiao Xiao, and Huo Yutong shared a meal while El learned that Ma Xiaotao was nearing her breakthrough to level 70. Meanwhile, the Holy Spirit Cult secretly strengthened Zhou Yi as part of a plan to infiltrate Shrek Academy through her and Fan Yu.

  • Wang Dong'er and Xiao Xiao asked where Huo Yutong was, and El explained that Dean Yan had sent her to help a senior student in the Inner Court.
  • Huo Yutong arrived, and she told El that Ma Xiaotao had reached level 68 and would soon attempt to become a Soul Saint.
  • El considered Ma Xiaotao's coming Phoenix Nirvana and continued monitoring Zhou Yi, whom he knew the Holy Spirit Cult was secretly strengthening.
  • A fat shopkeeper and over a dozen black-robed cultists channeled soul power through an altar to strengthen Zhou Yi, hoping to use her to control Fan Yu and infiltrate Shrek Academy.
  • El enjoyed the meal with the others and ordered another crispy roast chicken while the shopkeeper prepared more resources for Zhou Yi.

Ch. 73Faith is toxic

El and Electrolux devised a plan to turn the Sea God's divine sense and the Holy Spirit Cult's faith against Tang San. They intended to recast the cult's faith around the Angel God and make Tang San's conflicting godhoods destabilize, leaving their plan ready to put into action.

  • El noticed the Sea God's divine sense inside Wang Dong'er was fully exposed after he obtained Sapphire Star.
  • El asked Electrolux whether they could use the divine sense to influence the Blue Silver Emperor and connect it to fragments of the Angel Godhood.
  • Electrolux said influencing the Blue Silver Emperor was possible and proposed altering the divine sense through distorted faith.
  • El explained that Tang San had used the Holy Spirit Cult and the alias Holy Emperor to gather faith for his godhoods.
  • El and Electrolux planned to install an angel as the Holy Spirit Cult's leader and redirect its faith toward the Angel God.
  • Electrolux said mixing faith in the Sea God and Angel God would cause Tang San's unstable godhoods to split apart.

Ch. 74He Caitou: Junior brother, you're part of the Sun Moon Imperial Family too, aren't you?

El took Wang Dong'er on an aimless walk around the academy, and the pair found Xiao Xiao too busy with homework to join them. Their outing was interrupted when He Caitou asked El privately whether he also had Sun Moon Imperial Family blood, but El insisted Wang Dong'er stay and hear what he had to say.

  • El asked Wang Dong'er to go for a walk without deciding where they would go.
  • El and Wang Dong'er visited Xiao Xiao in the library, but Xiao Xiao refused to leave before finishing her homework.
  • El and Wang Dong'er continued walking around the academy and joked about being the only members of their group left to hang out.
  • He Caitou approached El and asked to speak with him alone.
  • El refused to exclude Wang Dong'er, and He Caitou asked whether El had Sun Moon Imperial Family blood.

Ch. 75By Huang's mandate, may you live long and prosper

El confirmed his connection to the Sun Moon Imperial Family after He Caitou revealed he was its former crown prince, Xu He. He Caitou gave El the imperial jade seal and asked him to avenge his family, while El began examining the seal and wondered how the current emperor had defeated its power.

  • He Caitou revealed that he was Xu He, the former crown prince, and recognized El's Alatreon Martial Soul as related to the imperial family's Purple Brilliant Heaven Destroying Dragon.
  • El acknowledged his ties to the Sun Moon Imperial Family and asked whether He Caitou wanted him to restore the former regime; He Caitou denied it and said he preferred life at Shrek Academy.
  • He Caitou gave El the imperial jade seal his father had entrusted to him while fleeing the current emperor's purge, explaining that it could command or suppress most imperial family members.
  • He Caitou asked El to kill the emperor who had slaughtered his family, and El agreed before placing the seal in his Sea of Consciousness for inspection.
  • El enveloped the seal with the Sapphire Star's power to check for corruption, then asked He Caitou how the current emperor had overthrown a family protected by the seal.

Ch. 76Snap bomb number one, ready to go!

El learned that He Caitou’s father had been overthrown by powerful Titled Douluos from outside the Sun Moon Imperial Family, then probed He Caitou about Fan Yu’s recent work and relationship with Mu Jin. After learning Fan Yu would meet Mu Jin for a meal tomorrow, El prepared to set his plan involving Zhou Yi in motion.

  • He Caitou told El that black-robed Titled Douluos from outside the imperial family had carried out the coup against his father.
  • El stopped Wang Dong'er from asking He Caitou a blunt question and changed the subject to Fan Yu’s work.
  • He Caitou explained that Fan Yu had been traveling to find students harmed by Zhou Yi and compensate them, and that he had just returned from the Star Luo Empire.
  • He Caitou said Mu Jin had helped Fan Yu access Martial Soul Department records and that Fan Yu planned to treat him to a meal tomorrow.
  • El secretly released some of the power of destruction in Zhou Yi’s body and decided tomorrow’s meal was the moment to begin his plan.

Ch. 77Zhou Yi: This is power!

Zhou Yi regained her youth and reached Soul Saint with the Holy Spirit Cult’s help, then went looking for Fan Yu. El wrote events into his book to steer her toward a confrontation with Mu Jin, and Zhou Yi spotted them dining together and began plotting an attack.

  • Zhou Yi absorbed the evil energy gathered by the Holy Spirit Cult, restored her youthful appearance, and broke through to Soul Saint.
  • Cao Quan warned Zhou Yi to be cautious in Shrek City and reminded her that she still needed a seventh ring and the cult’s help to secure Fan Yu.
  • El wrote that Zhou Yi would learn Fan Yu had gone to eastern Shrek City and would set out to find him.
  • Zhou Yi saw Fan Yu eating with Mu Jin and, unable to attack them publicly, decided to wait until Mu Jin was alone.
  • El titled a new page “The Death of Zhou Yi” and turned to write what came next.

Ch. 78Zhou Yi's death

Fan Yu discovered Zhou Yi attacking Mu Jin as an Evil Soul Master and intervened to protect him and the people of Shrek City. Zhou Yi died after running into Fan Yu’s attack, but not before revealing a Holy Spirit Cult lead in West District.

  • Mu Jin left Fan Yu after dinner, and Fan Yu pursued him to return a Ruby Earring he had forgotten.
  • Fan Yu sensed an Evil Soul Master and found Zhou Yi attacking Mu Jin with green flames.
  • Fan Yu blocked Zhou Yi’s strike and tried to calm her, but she became enraged again when she was called an Evil Soul Master.
  • Zhou Yi charged at Mu Jin as Fan Yu unleashed his Soul Douluo attack to stop her flames, and she ran into the attack.
  • As Zhou Yi died in Fan Yu’s arms, she cursed those around her and revealed the Holy Soul One Pill Shop and the Holy Spirit Cult in West District.

Ch. 79So-called [Guiding the Way] Was Essentially an AI

After killing Zhou Yi, El learned that altering fate earned him both world deviation and fate energy, which the Sapphire Star could use to construct items but not safely enhance him. He concluded that killing replaceable characters would not change history enough, then began investigating the cost of creating a Martial Soul or god-bestowed Soul Ring.

  • El learned that killing Zhou Yi earned only 0.1891% world deviation and brought his total deviation to 86.8312%.
  • The Sapphire Star explained that it had collected 1,000 standard units of fate energy from changes to the worldline and warned El against using the unstable energy for personal growth.
  • El reasoned that individual characters could be replaced and that he would need to alter the great tide of history to reduce the world’s deviation substantially.
  • El considered speeding up Ma Xiaotao’s growth with constructed fire-attribute treasures, but abandoned the idea after learning that imitating an Angel Godhood Fragment would require far more fate energy than he possessed.
  • El asked the Sapphire Star about creating a Martial Soul and a god-bestowed Soul Ring, then questioned why the Ring cost so much more.

Ch. 80A Vision of Infinite Energy

El asked Sapphire Star how to obtain more construction energy and learned that changing fate or connecting worlds could generate it. He left determined to build devices that could locate and observe another world, believing their interaction could provide effectively infinite energy to help him defeat the Creator God.

  • El asked Sapphire Star where he could quickly find construction energy, but its first suggestion was to seize the Divine Realm Core.
  • Sapphire Star advised El to create greater changes to the original worldline so he could harvest energy from ripples of fate.
  • El realized that interactions between different worlds might generate far more energy than changes to fate alone.
  • El proposed locating the Monster Hunter world through a soul's characteristics and building devices to observe it and breach Douluo's world barrier.
  • Sapphire Star confirmed that world friction could provide enormous energy but said they currently had no way to locate another world.
  • El insisted that his transmigrations proved other worlds existed and resolved to construct the devices, hoping to borrow power from beyond Douluo to defeat the Creator God.

Ch. 81El: I've been feeling more and more pent-up lately. Time to find something to do (someone to fight)

El abandoned plans for expensive tools and decided to relieve his restlessness by provoking fights in Shrek’s Inner Court. He arranged for Yan Shaozhe to spread word of his tournament selection and low ring count, then left as Yan Shaozhe began asking about Ma Xiaotao.

  • El learned that his proposed tools would cost at least 500,000 standard units of energy and gave up on the idea for now.
  • Restless and eager to fight, El decided to challenge senior students in the Inner Court.
  • El teleported to Yan Shaozhe’s office and demanded to know why he had not been told about his place on next year’s main team.
  • El ordered Yan Shaozhe to discreetly spread news of his selection and emphasize his three rings to provoke students who wanted a team spot.
  • Yan Shaozhe agreed to announce El’s selection and formally add him to the team within a week, then asked about his disciple, Ma Xiaotao.
