• Li Qing and Gong Yao survived the lake trial, and Li Qing investigated the village's deaths and discovered that the chiefs had abducted and killed brides under cover of the Fortune Lady legend.

Li Qing investigated the deaths and strange events surrounding a film shoot, where Bai Cha’s revenge pushed the dungeon beyond its script and nearly trapped everyone in a fire. After the assignment ended, Li Qing entered a clinic dungeon, identified Yuan Shiyan as its anomaly, and discovered that Gong Yao had arrived there as a player.

• Gong Yao and Li Qing compared the voices warning them about each other, while a failed stunt killed Yu Xiaohe’s double and Li Qing suspected Yu Xiaohe was tied to the dungeon’s anomaly.
• Gong Yao saved Li Qing from an explosion, and Li Qing began suspecting He Li, Bai Cha, and others as accidents and attempted killings continued on set.
• Li Qing learned Yu Xiaohe was Qin Lian, helped her confront her past, and watched the crew’s conflicts culminate in He Li’s arrest and Meng Tian’s death by electrocution.
• After Tao Lele died and the actors returned to filming, Gong Yao and An Ya survived a car with failed brakes, while Li Qing confronted Bai Cha about his connection to Gong Yao.
