One reason Su Bai had brought the Jin Family Brothers to the intersection in the Dense Fog Zone was that he suspected Xia An'an and Lei Ming might stay nearby if they lost their way. The other was that he wanted to see an Eternal Lamp.
The ten Eternal Lamps could be called the foundation of Fog City itself. The Fog City Lord had used them to stabilize the eerie dense fog, creating a city cut off from the Red Moon. Su Bai wanted very much to see just what kind of existence could possess power on that scale.
Unfortunately, even by the time Su Bai and the Jin Family Brothers had "said goodbye" to Xia An'an and Lei Ming, he had sensed nothing nearby resembling a "lamp." He had even forgotten to ask Xia An'an about the Eternal Lamps because of the news about Su Xuan.
