"Someone from the Relevant Authorities?"
Hearing that, the muscular man who had already wrenched the battered bus door open actually stopped in his tracks. He turned around in puzzlement and looked the young man hurrying toward them up and down.
"You still look like a high school student. Are you even old enough to take the civil service exam?"
"What do you mean, high school student? I'm almost done with college..." Before he could finish, the young man realized he had let something slip and hurriedly covered his mouth.
"Oh, right, aren't you that guy from the literature department who's always acting crazy and spouting nonsense? Feng Yan, was it? Since when did you join the Relevant Authorities?" One of the boys among the three college students standing nearby walked over and took a closer look at the young man, then smiled at the two girls beside him. "He's the guy who kept saying last semester that he could see a female ghost in the dorm mirror at midnight. Hahaha, come to think of it, even if a ghost did show up in the boys' dorm mirror, why would it be a female ghost? At first, people were half convinced by all his spooky talk, but no matter how many times anyone tried, nobody ever saw anything special in that mirror."
"And now you've finally found a mirror that really lets you see ghosts?" The boy looked teasingly at the strange mirror in Feng Yan's hand.
"Hahaha." One of the girls beside him seemed to be his girlfriend. She leaned against him, laughing merrily.
"Come on, I really am with the Relevant Authorities." The young man, apparently named Feng Yan, looked a little anxious. "I admit I was a little crazy last semester, but a lot changed over summer break."
