This bus was far stranger than anything they understood, and both Su Bai's earlier judgments and his current actions were more methodical than theirs. He also seemed far more experienced.

First, they found the passengers who could barely stand but whose legs were too weak to keep them steady, carefully helped them to the front of the bus, and seated them on the floor. Then they moved on to those who had completely lost their strength and lay slumped across the seats as though they had been drained dry. With help from the muscular gymgoer, the passengers dragged and carried these utterly helpless people, whose qi-blood was almost exhausted, out of their seats.
Soon, the already narrow aisle became crowded, its floor packed with seated passengers.
Watching the scene before him, Su Bai actually felt somewhat relieved. He wasn't sure whether it was because this Eerie Bus had limited abilities, but from what he could tell, its "roots" seemed to extend only into the seats.
If the handrails, floor, and even the ceiling were all part of it, things would get troublesome. At that point, Su Bai would have even fewer options. He might even have to abandon the passengers whose qi-blood had run dry, destroy the bus outright, and force his way out with the remaining survivors.
