The eight attendants, including Su Bai, had stood motionless against the wall some distance from the players, like sculptures placed there to embellish the European-style hotel. Each stood perfectly straight, every movement precise, and their uniforms were more elaborate than those of modern hotels. They truly resembled decorative dolls meant to enhance the atmosphere.
Earlier, Su Bai had even worried that the identity the Administrator had assigned him might require him to stand there without moving for seven whole days.
But while the thirty players were gathered together sorting through their information, Su Bai suddenly noticed the humanoid attendant at the far right begin to move. Then, just as when they had left the changing room, the seven humanoid attendants other than him turned and walked toward the gathered players in a neat formation, their strides identical.

Eventually, all eight humanoid attendants stood in a perfectly straight row facing the human players. Directly behind the players were the hotel's front desk and the portrait of a young girl lying in a sea of white roses, while behind Su Bai and the others stood the hotel's heavy, tightly closed entrance doors.
Through the stained-glass windows beside the doors, he could just make out the Rose Sea, a brilliant expanse of red roses outside the hotel lobby.
The humanoid attendant at the far right who had suddenly spoken looked like an elderly man. If one ignored his mechanical, machine-like voice and judged him solely by his clothing and appearance,
