Through a mixture of deduction and guesswork, Su Bai pieced together the truth behind everything at the Lorimas Grand Hotel-
The Lorimas Grand Hotel had probably started out as a game setting genuinely controlled by the Administrator. At the very least, the person who had written the notebook tucked against Su Bai's chest had once been a perfectly ordinary player. Although Su Bai had yet to read the later entries, the beginning suggested that the Lorimas Grand Hotel had been no different from any other game back then.
But at some unknown point, Peng Zhen and at least one other person had used some means to take control of the Lorimas Grand Hotel, gaining a way to bring players into the hotel. Their actions did not seem motivated by some simple, twisted amusement or pure malice. Rather, they seemed to be pursuing a goal that would benefit them.
To achieve that goal, they had told the players to return to their guest rooms before six and not leave again.
To achieve that goal, they had told the players not to approach the sixth floor. "The dead Lorimas is crying"-that piece of information had once drawn Su Bai's particular attention, but now that all three rules had proven fabricated, it carried little weight. Perhaps Peng Zhen and the others had simply made it up.
To achieve that goal, they had told the players to eat three meals a day and drink at least ten glasses of water.
Thanks to Little Fire's appearance, Su Bai already knew there was something tainted in the Buffet Restaurant's food. That meant the main purpose of their three rules might have been to make the players willingly eat that suspicious food. Even the alcohol and water in the Bar might have been equally suspect!
