Ace defeated Lizard King Hanafuza and set course for Wano Country to challenge Kaido. In the present, Sengoku approved an offer for Ace to join the Seven Warlords, then learned the Navy had lost track of Uchiha Huayue.

• Ace burned away Hanafuza’s poison fog and defeated him with Flame Emperor, protecting the Spade Pirates and the islanders.
• Hanafuza warned Ace that Kaido would retaliate, then escaped into the sea as Ace vowed to defeat Kaido and ordered his crew to sail for Wano Country.

Huayue studied Visalia’s Wind Knot and learned that Portgas D. Ace had defeated Hanafuza, prompting him to set out for Wano Country to honor his promise to Roger and protect Ace. Meanwhile, Kaido mourned Hanafuza, and Sabo investigated weapon shipments in Lulucia, where hearing Ace’s name stirred an unexplained sense of familiarity.

• Haredas showed Huayue a Wind Knot, and Huayue studied its structure and formed a similar knot from a multicolored thread.
• After reading that Ace had defeated Hanafuza and refused a Warlord position, Huayue decided to travel to Wano Country to keep his promise to Roger and prevent Ace from dying.

Ace stayed in Amiasa Village, learned that Kaido’s factories had poisoned the land and impoverished its people, and rescued them with food. When Kaido’s men captured Tama and took her to Onigashima, Ace flew there to save her, only to learn from Black Maria that Kaido was away.

• Ace brought food to the starving villagers of Amiasa Village and met Tama, who told him Kaido’s factories had poisoned the land and caused her parents’ deaths.

• Hiyori confronted Orochi over his crimes against her family and cut off his head, sealing his Devil Fruit ability with Haki so he could not revive.

Vegapunk secretly called Uchiha Huayue for help, leaving Kuma’s fate and the agreement unresolved.

• Jaygarcia Saturn ordered Borsalino to surround Egghead after learning Vegapunk was working with Bartholomew Kuma.

• Vegapunk revealed that Kuma had agreed to become a World Government weapon in exchange for curing Bonney’s Azure Scale Disease, and Borsalino explained that Jaygarcia Saturn had changed the deal.
