Hunan Province had been completely blanketed in yellow sand. None of its cities or mountains had escaped the sandstorm.
In Liu City, however, someone had swept the yellow sand into piles. Even the sandworms hiding within it had been shredded by some mysterious force. What looked like tiny grains of sand on the ground were all sandworms.
A convoy of five hundred people had gathered in this city famous for its fireworks and firecrackers.
The Kunlun Convoy had searched Liu City for supplies as soon as they arrived. They had effectively taken over the entire place.
Some passing convoys would choose to trade supplies with them.
What puzzled everyone, though, was that the Kunlun Convoy claimed they were heading for Ba-Shu, yet had never revealed why they kept staying here.
It seemed they had stayed solely to trade supplies with other convoys.
Their captain, Sun Kunlun, was an ordinary-looking, dark-skinned man around five foot seven. Dressed in a white robe, he lay on the ground with his eyes closed, enjoying the sunlight on his body.
Inside a supermarket a short distance behind him, four Sequence Transcendents whose auras far surpassed those of ordinary people stood together, watching him.
"Our captain really has something wrong with his head. He sunbathes every day. Isn't he afraid he'll bake himself to death?"
"Oh, you'll get used to it. Photosynthesis, you know. Anyway, Auntie, how are your preparations coming along? Don't hold up our big plan."
"Relax. I've marked everything that needs marking. Once we start, we can go straight to the finish."
"A-Feng, can you expand your Protective Shield a little more? We can't let the Aberrations discover us. There are quite a few large Aberrations in Hunan Province."
"I only just reached Sequence Eight. Do you think I'm a perpetual motion machine?"
