As Anasterian continued to soar upward, the top of the tower seemed to erupt like a volcano, threatening to melt everything.

Rhode did not dare stand too close. He swiftly drifted a dozen meters away and stopped.

Then he saw a slender figure shoot up from below the tower.

After flying upward, Anasterian did not land. Instead, he stood suspended several meters above the ground, his robes snapping and his gaze flashing like lightning.

"Mage Rhode, you never cease to surprise me."

Anasterian was wreathed in flames. Although Rhode had nearly knocked him off the tower, he showed no frustration or dejection. Instead, delight filled his face.

"If I had never met you, Mage Rhode, I might never have discovered the upper limits of magical power."

"Now it seems that letting you wield the Moon Crystals was the best fate they could have found. My son Kael'thas could never have reached this level."

"But do not think this alone will allow you to defeat me. Today, I must bring out my true strength. And you are the first person to make me do so!"

Anasterian spoke with an almost rapturous expression.

As he spoke, his magical aura surged higher and higher, seemingly without end.

His mental power even began to manifest physically, shooting out in every direction like tentacles.

After finishing, Anasterian pointed at Rhode.

"Mage Rhode, receive this attack!"

Excitement shone in his eyes. The vast expanse of mental and magical power suddenly drew back around him, then converged into a brilliant light.

That light began to rotate, forming a disc!

Its radius stretched twenty to thirty meters, making it enormous. Yet the magical power within it was more concentrated than ever, taking solid form. Hovering in the air, it exerted the crushing pressure of a mountain bearing down.
