Mr. Yao looked him up and down, narrowing his eyes.
"Who are you?"
Li Chen had no interest in dealing with him. He looked straight at Little Doctor Fairy. "Let's go."
Little Doctor Fairy glanced at him, then at Mr. Yao.
Mr. Yao stood blocking the doorway, his expression sour, but Li Chen clearly didn't consider him worth a second thought.
Without hesitating, she stepped forward and followed Li Chen toward the door.
Mr. Yao reached out to stop them, but the moment he raised his hand, Li Chen's gaze fell on him. His body abruptly stiffened, and he dared not move another inch.
The two of them walked around him and out of the Ten Thousand Medicine Hall.
They left the town and stepped onto the main road.
After they had walked for a while, the voices faded into the distance, leaving only the wind and their footsteps around them.
Only then did Little Doctor Fairy speak.
