Even though they had enslaved vast numbers of life-forms from other planets, and even controlled some powerful beastforms and conscripted them into their armies, it still was not enough.
Their unbridled expansion had also been discovered by some of the universe's foremost civilizations, which had initially assumed that this newborn civilization would soon face punishment from the angels.
Yet after all this time, the angels had made no move. They had even remained huddled within Melo Heaven.

Morgana sat on her throne, a star chart hovering before her. Dense red points of light covered it, marking the direction and extent of the Origin Civilization's expansion.
The Local Group had been completely covered, and the edges were still slowly extending outward.
"My queen, the angels haven't made any moves." A'To stood beside her, speaking quietly. "All of Melo Heaven's patrols have withdrawn to their core star regions. They've even abandoned their border outposts."
Morgana tapped her fingers lightly against the armrest. The Origin Civilization's expansion was brutally violent. Every civilization it encountered was either enslaved or destroyed.
