"A new day. Creative Mode, activate."

The first thing Li Chen did was activate Creative Mode and open his Creative Inventory. He took out one stack of Teleportation Steles first, so he would be able to teleport quickly between different places in the future.

After he took them out, Creative Mode did not end immediately, just like yesterday. Before, he could only take out one item; now, he could take out two.

For now, he could only attribute this to his increase in level. He would have to wait until he became a Soul Elder to determine anything more specific.

For his second item, he had originally planned to take more bottles o' enchanting, but then he reconsidered. He did not seem to have tried MC's crafting function yet, so he chose to take out a Crafting Table.

That way, he would not have to rely on Creative Mode for certain things, and he could try crafting items himself.

After all, he could only activate Creative Mode once a day, and the number of items he could take was limited. If he chose non-stackable items, wouldn't he lose out terribly?

After taking two items, he automatically exited Creative Mode. He placed the Teleportation Stele directly in the center of the village.

The Crafting Table could be placed anywhere, so he simply set it beside the stele. The real-world Crafting Table did not have a crafting interface. Instead, the ingredients had to be placed in the nine squares on its surface.

First, he casually scooped up a handful of dirt from the ground and put it in one of the Crafting Table's squares. Since there was no recipe for it, the Crafting Table did not react.

After studying it a little more, he found five villagers to help with his experiments. He planned to start testing the recipes he still remembered.

First came crafting planks. He placed a piece of wood on it, and as he set it over the Crafting Table, the wood shrank, following the same mechanism as his inventory.

Li Chen selected craft. The wood on the Crafting Table vanished and turned into three oak logs. At the same time, the Book of Knowledge automatically recorded the recipe and awarded him experience points.

Then he crafted the logs into twelve oak planks. The Book of Knowledge awarded him experience points again, raising him to level 23.

After that, he crafted the following in order: sticks, a wooden sword, a wooden pickaxe, a wooden button, and a wooden pressure plate.

The Experience Points awarded by the Book of Knowledge for recording those recipes pushed him to level 24.

Li Chen took out the wooden sword made by the Crafting Table. It was practically the sword of his childhood dreams. Its power was beside the point for now; after all, it had more value as a collectible than as a practical weapon.

The wooden button and pressure plate provided redstone signals, just like in the original game. There was no difference.

With a wooden pickaxe, naturally, the next step was to mine some stone and bring it back for more crafting experiments.

He tossed the wooden pickaxe to one of the villagers beside him. Why do the work himself when he had someone to do it for him? He was not stupid. Of course these villagers would handle the hard labor.

At most, once he was better off, he would give them some emerald blocks.

After a day of research, Li Chen finally understood how crafting worked. The Crafting Table first converted gathered materials into the original one-cubic-meter blocks from Minecraft.

For example, as long as he gathered enough stone, the Crafting Table could turn it into cobblestone. The remaining recipes were the same as in the original game.

As for crafting dyes, any flowers, grasses, or other plants would do. He could skip the step of first crafting them into the game's original plants.

Then there was the Furnace. In Minecraft, it was just an ordinary functional block, but here, it was high-tech through and through.

It smelted automatically, purified automatically, and put out the fire automatically once it was finished. The only things that needed to be done by hand were adding the material to be smelted and the fuel.

Aside from that, he discovered that the Crafting Table could also craft items that did not exist in the original MC, such as dirt slabs, dirt stairs, dirt swords, dirt chestplates, and so on.

As long as they followed the crafting rules, they could be crafted and recorded by the Book of Knowledge.

He had been right not to choose the More Tools mod back then. Even without that mod, he could still craft those items.

After crafting every item he could make with the materials he currently had, the experience awarded by the Book of Knowledge had brought him all the way to level 30.

Looks like there's still plenty for me to uncover in this cheat.

If he had not taken the Crafting Table today, he probably would not even have known that the Book of Knowledge recorded recipes and awarded experience points.

It seemed the other functional blocks might also bring him unexpected surprises. In any case, he had already arranged for the villagers to collect materials.

Anything they truly could not obtain, he would get through Creative Mode.

He simply had not expected to need another Soul Ring less than a day after returning. This time, though, he had an Iron Golem, so he could go to the Star Dou Great Forest. As long as he left a Teleportation Stele there too, he could travel back and forth quickly whenever he needed another Soul Ring.

As it happened, the two villagers who had gone to sell the iron blocks brought back five hundred thousand Gold Soul Coins. He had not expected them to actually sell all of it.

One stack of iron blocks might not sound like much, but what about 503 tons of iron? He had no idea how those two villagers had managed to sell that much iron.

Originally, he had only intended for them to sell as much as they could to raise some starting capital, then keep the rest for making Iron Golems, as well as tools, armor, and the like.

Now that it had already been sold, he did not dwell on it. What mattered more was Soul Hunting in the Star Dou Great Forest and deciding what to set as his third command.

He now had Creative Mode and detection, but his combat options were still somewhat lacking.

Give, setblock, replace, clone...

Commands surfaced in his mind one after another, then faded away. With Creative Mode already available, designing those commands would be something of a waste of time.

Teleport, change weather, change time.

The tp teleportation command could be worth considering if it could work like his second Soul Ring.

Changing the weather looked pretty cool and would be good for showing off his powers in front of others, but it had no practical value. It neither improved his combat strength nor offered any special effects.

Changing time-could he really do that? Speaking of time, though, another good command occurred to him: time stop.

The command /tickfreeze froze game ticks, stopping time, block updates, entities, redstone, and so on.

After a day of travel, Li Chen arrived at the town outside the Star Dou Great Forest. It was far livelier than the marketplace outside the Soul Hunting Forest.

He casually walked into an inn. Inside were Soul Hunting groups who made a living helping others hunt for Soul Rings, teachers and students from academies who had come to obtain Soul Rings...

But the moment he arrived, the entire room fell silent, solely because of the nearly three-meter-tall Iron Golem following behind him.

Merely standing there, the Iron Golem exuded a terrifying sense of pressure.

Li Chen paid it no mind and addressed the waiter directly. "I'd like one of your best rooms. Prepare some of your signature dishes as well."

"Y-yes, of course. Please follow me." Although the waiter saw all sorts of people every day, that hulking lump of iron was no person.

Only after Li Chen went upstairs did voices gradually rise from the first floor, all discussing his Iron Golem.

Li Chen did not care in the slightest. He simply had the Iron Golem stand guard at the door.
