Background

Wang Zhong began as a museum security guard with only Level 1 Psionic Talent. His issued Primary Psionic Protective Combat Suit gave him basic bullet resistance and a temporary physical boost, but he remained an insignificant figure compared with true Psionic Warriors. During the museum theft incident, he encountered abnormal psionic activity and was subsequently hospitalized. 1

While confined in the hospital, he awakened the Mechanical God Book and its first Cleric Ability, Mechanical Communication LV1. By linking his consciousness to nearby machines, he discovered his ward was bugged and learned that Qi Xun intended to frame him as a museum thief and use him as bait. Wang Zhong secretly activated Qi Xun's badge to contact Captain Li Ying, escaping immediate confinement. 2 3 4

After realizing Mien intended to eliminate him, Wang Zhong chose to strike first. He used Psionic Datafication, a disguise, and a fruit knife enhanced with Psionic Attachment to kill Mien, then destroyed the body and evidence. Mien's Mechanical Heart became Wang Zhong's first major mechanical remnant and began his path of strengthening through devouring mechanical components. 7 8 10

His investigation connected Mien to the Sain Mechanical Prosthetics Company. Wang Zhong anonymously exposed Qi Xun's illegal income, arranged for his arrest, and began acquiring Psionic Fossils, weapons, disguises, and mechanical creations to survive the company’s retaliation. 12

When his former colleague Xiao Zhe was revealed as a Sain Mechanical Killer sent to assassinate him, Wang Zhong ambushed and killed him under a disguise. He then exposed Xiao Zhe’s cyber-spider tattoo to destabilize Sain from within while publicly feigning grief for his “friend.” 17 19 20 21

Wang Zhong initially wore the black Primary Psionic Protective Combat Suit issued to museum guards, marked by blue psionic patterns across the chest and abdomen. 1

After being framed and targeted for murder, he begins gathering intelligence before acting, routinely creating alibis, disguising himself, hacking surveillance systems, and destroying evidence after killings. 12 18 54 98

He prefers to conceal his true strength behind the image of a harmless Level 1 Psionic Warrior. This façade lets him mislead enemies, colleagues, and investigators while reserving his mechanical creations as hidden trump cards. 70 99 160

Although he can be ruthless toward enemies, Wang Zhong is protective of people he considers his own. He rescues Manni, intervenes when Lin Xiaoyin is endangered, deploys Mechanical War Ravens to guard his family and Chen Jiaman, and seeks longevity resources for his parents and girlfriend. 49 161 172 179
