"Dong'er, hold on tight." Lin Xuanchen lowered his head to look at Wang Dong'er in his arms and reminded her.
"A-Chen, I'm holding on tight." At his words, Wang Dong'er nestled farther into his arms, tightened her grip, and answered him.
"Good." Hearing Wang Dong'er's reply, Lin Xuanchen nodded, then leaped into the well.

With a splash of water, Lin Xuanchen and Wang Dong'er plunged into the well.
The instant they entered, Lin Xuanchen felt a sinister chill sweep toward them and slam into their bodies.
But against Lin Xuanchen, who possessed the Life Spirit Flame, this cold current was like a mantis raising its arms to stop a chariot. It had no effect whatsoever.
The cold currents could not affect Lin Xuanchen, but the same could not be said of Wang Dong'er in his arms.
Wang Dong'er had no Heavenly Flames. The moment the cold current struck her delicate body, a bone-piercing chill washed over her.
"A-Chen, it's so cold here." Feeling the cold current batter her body, Wang Dong shivered and huddled deeper into Lin Xuanchen's arms, speaking softly.
"Huh?" Her words made Lin Xuanchen pause for a moment, but he quickly realized what was wrong. Wang Dong'er doesn't have Heavenly Flames! These cold currents don't affect me, but that isn't necessarily true for her.
He immediately summoned the Life Spirit Flame and shaped it into an emerald-green barrier, wrapping Wang Dong'er snugly within it to keep the cold currents out.
"Dong'er, are you still cold?" Once he had finished, Lin Xuanchen looked down at Wang Dong'er in his arms and asked gently.
"Not anymore." With the Life Spirit Flame holding the cold currents at bay, Wang Dong'er had returned to normal and answered with a smile.
"Good. Then let's keep going down." Lin Xuanchen released Wang Dong'er from his embrace, then naturally took her slender, jade-like hand, interlacing their fingers as he led her farther down.
As they descended, the light around them grew increasingly dim, and the temperature had already dropped below freezing. A dense layer of ice-attribute natural energy even rippled through the water.
Lin Xuanchen increased the output of his Life Spirit Flame, lighting their surroundings while ensuring that Wang Dong'er remained unaffected.
The low temperature still had little effect on Lin Xuanchen, but Wang Dong'er was different. Without the protection of the Life Spirit Flame, she might immediately pass out from the cold.
As time slowly passed, Lin Xuanchen and Wang Dong'er reached the very bottom, where a great door stood.
The entire door was ice blue, with a cool texture and numerous round protrusions across its surface. It looked exceptionally solid.
"I remember there being some kind of mechanism here." Lin Xuanchen murmured as he looked at the door before him, then began trying to recall the details of this place from the original story.
"Forget it. I can't remember. I'll just smash it open." After pondering briefly, Lin Xuanchen still could not remember the mechanism here, so he simply summoned the Seven Kill Sword, intending to force his way through.
"Heavenly Dome Demon-Breaking Slash!"
Lin Xuanchen shouted in a low voice, then abruptly turned the Seven Kill Sword in his hand and swung it fiercely at the door before him.
In an instant, a sword beam over a hundred feet long, blazing with Life Spirit Flame, burst from Lin Xuanchen's Seven Kill Sword and hurtled toward the door.

With a thunderous crash, the seemingly indestructible door was blasted open by Lin Xuanchen's Heavenly Dome Demon-Breaking Slash.

Soon, the two arrived inside a cave.
The cave was not particularly large, but its interior was covered in all manner of unidentified crystals.
These crystals were deep blue throughout, sparkling and translucent. They were quite beautiful.
The cave's floor, walls, and even its ceiling were almost entirely covered in these translucent crystals. They varied in size, shimmering with flowing colors.
Green light flashed, and the glow of the Life Spirit Flame illuminated the entire cave in the blink of an eye.
Under the light of the Life Spirit Flame, the crystals that should have been deep blue now all appeared emerald green, making the cave as beautiful as a fairyland.
"Wow, it's so beautiful here." Wang Dong'er raised her eyes to take in the sight, unable to contain her astonishment as she exclaimed in admiration.
"Phew."
Looking at the scene before him, Lin Xuanchen slowly let out a breath of relief and murmured, "These are all ice extreme divine crystals that form alongside the Ten-Thousand-Year Ice Cave. We've finally made it!"
"The Ten-Thousand-Year Ice Cave?" Wang Dong'er paused, then asked, "A-Chen, is that what this place is called?"
"That's right." Lin Xuanchen nodded and explained, "The Ten-Thousand-Year Ice Cave is the name of this place, and these shining crystals are the ice extreme divine crystals that form alongside it."
Looking at the ice extreme divine crystals inside the cave, Lin Xuanchen already had a plan: first, he would collect all the ice extreme divine crystals here, then find someone to fashion some jewelry and similar items for Wang Dong'er from them.
"Dong'er, do you think these ice extreme divine crystals are pretty?" Lin Xuanchen suddenly asked.
"They're beautiful!" Wang Dong'er answered with a nod.
"Then how about I have some jewelry made for you from these ice extreme divine crystals?" Lin Xuanchen asked with a soft smile.
"Jewelry?" Wang Dong'er froze for a moment, then happily kissed Lin Xuanchen on the cheek. "Yes! Thank you, A-Chen!"
"All right, then I'll put these ice extreme divine crystals away first." Feeling the touch against his cheek, Lin Xuanchen could not help smiling.
Then Lin Xuanchen flicked his fingers, sending multiple streams of Life Spirit Flame toward the ice extreme divine crystals inside the cave.
About fifteen minutes later, Lin Xuanchen had stripped all the ice extreme divine crystals in the cave from the walls and stored them in his Storage Ring.
"Dong'er, let's keep going down. There are more good things waiting for us below." Holding Wang Dong'er's hand, Lin Xuanchen continued deeper inside.
"More good things?" Wang Dong'er asked curiously. "Could it be more ice extreme divine crystals?"
"Of course not." Lin Xuanchen smiled. "What's down below is countless times more precious than ice extreme divine crystals."
"You could also say that if what's down there ever appeared in the world, it would definitely send the Soul Master World scrambling to seize it, especially the ice-attribute Soul Masters. Even Soul Beasts might come to fight over it," Lin Xuanchen said slowly.
