Zhao Jie sprang off the sofa, his flab shaking violently.
"Su Mei quit her job!"
Chen Lin unscrewed the cap and took a sip, nearly spitting it out.
"She just quit her job. What are you howling for?"
"She's coming back to Yicheng to work!" Zhao Jie lunged at him, tears and snot streaming down his face as he tried to wipe them on Chen Lin.
Chen Lin kicked him away, his face twisted in disgust. "Get lost! Isn't her coming back to Yicheng a good thing? No more long-distance relationship. You should be setting off fireworks!"
"Good, my ass!" Zhao Jie pounded his thick chest. "You know me-wild, untamed, and born to be free! Once she's back, how am I supposed to go out drinking? How am I supposed to game all night with the boys? My happiness is gone!"
