An Earth-Armored Beast cautiously emerged from one side of a gully.
This Earth-Armored Beast was a whole size larger than ordinary ones, considerably bigger than a water buffalo. Its heavy armor was as thick as stone slabs. It was a second-tier Earth-Armored Beast.
But its eyes were intensely wary as it crept slowly toward the earthen gully. It stopped after every step, probing the soil ahead with its enormous forelimbs, as though expecting danger.
On a small mound inside the gully, the air pulsed faintly around a sapling only half a person's height. Its leaves were withered yellow, and two rough-skinned fruits hung from it, giving off wisps of medicinal fragrance and astonishing earth spiritual energy.
The Earth-Armored Beast had clearly been drawn by those two fruits. Its eyes fixed greedily on them as it cautiously approached.
After a few steps, the Earth-Armored Beast stopped again, looking around and sniffing lightly, afraid of encountering danger.
But the two fruits held such an irresistible allure that the Earth-Armored Beast ventured forward despite the risk, circling around the swirling earthen pits.
