Back when Treasure Mountain appeared in Upper Tomb Land, a protracted war broke out there between cultivators and demon beasts and demon cultivators.
The fighting lasted for decades. On one hand, they were competing for the Heavenly Secret Hall on Treasure Mountain. On the other, demon beasts and demon cultivators were already sworn enemies of cultivators. Each side wanted to devour the other and turn them into cultivation.
And so the chaotic war between the demon cultivators and human race cultivators in Upper Tomb Land went on for decades...
Only when Heavenly Secret Hall Treasure Mountain was sealed off again did this long, drawn-out conflict finally end.
However, over a hundred years ago, the Dragon Horn Demon Emperor of Upper Tomb Land joined the Demon Race Alliance. There had never been any human race cultivation sects in Upper Tomb Land to begin with, nor even any mortals...
The Dragon Horn Demon Emperor thus naturally became the de facto ruler of Upper Tomb Land. By now, the entire region had effectively become forbidden territory for human race cultivators. Anyone who entered would be hunted down and surrounded by the Dragon Horn Demon Emperor and his subordinates.
The Dragon Horn Demon Emperor also wanted to become the demon race's supreme sovereign and wield absolute authority over its armies. He even imitated the human race, constructing numerous buildings and cities in Upper Tomb Land where demon beasts could gather to live and cultivate.
In the mountain ranges bordering Heavenly Billows, he had also built a massive defensive stronghold named after himself: Dragon Horn Sky-Subduing City.
The name Dragon Horn Sky-Subduing City alone showed just how vast his ambitions were...
