This Ancient Tower Divine Scorpion was neither a Demon Beast nor a Cultivator, but a very unusual kind of lifeform.
There had, in fact, been rumors that these Ancient Tower Lifeforms had originally been ordinary Cultivators of various races, Ancient Demon Beasts, and the like before they were sealed inside this pitch-black armor.

Perhaps their enemies or some mighty Cultivators had deliberately refined them into these Ancient Tower Lifeforms to defend and protect the ancient towers.
But what purpose would that serve?

But they were already caught up in it, so they could only take things one step at a time.
They were now inside the High Tower that had just crashed down between the Twin Pagoda Passage.
Because the entire tower was upside down, with its tip driven into the ground, they had entered from above and fought their way down.
