Moo!!
Ye Han drove two oxen toward the mountain behind the village. After traveling a little over a hundred zhang, he tied one to a large tree and muttered, "This should be far enough!"
Then Ye Han led the other ox onward. Through the lush woods, he could just make out a cave in the distance.
Gazing at the cave, Ye Han muttered, "I'll definitely succeed this time."
With that thought, Ye Han tied the ox to a large tree, then sprinted a dozen or so zhang away and hid behind another tree. He drew a cleaver from his waist and whipped his arm forward, sending it flying toward the ox tied to the tree!
Whoosh!
The cleaver flew a dozen or so zhang and struck the ox with pinpoint accuracy, slashing a deep, bloody gash into its body...
Instantly!
Moo!!!!
The ox let out an agonized bellow. Ignoring the tether pulling at its nose, it thrashed wildly and bolted away...
Snap!
In its pain, the ox even snapped its tether and charged into the distance...
It crashed into several large trees in succession...
Just then, a startling demon beast roar rang out from the cave!
Roar!!
An enormous demon beast burst out of the cave, whipping up a terrifying gale as it moved. Spotting the ox in the distance, it charged after it in excitement. Food had delivered itself to its doorstep, and the beast certainly wouldn't pass it up.
Boom, boom, boom!!
Gales surged as the demon beast chased the ox...
Seeing this, Ye Han sprinted into the cave at tremendous speed. A harsh, choking smell filled the interior...
But he didn't pause for a moment. Looking around, he spotted a raised patch of ground and swiftly dug into it, unearthing a bundle.
Found it!!
