Clearly, the tree demons who had fled had sensed the Divine Soul Locking Ye Han had placed on them and grown wary, setting up these restrictions, defenses, and patrols.
With so many enormous caverns enclosed by tangled roots and so many towers plainly visible in this area, this had to be the tree demons' habitat.
Ye Han had come searching from afar, following his divine soul senses. Along the way, he had encountered many mist-shrouded areas and traps, and passing through them had cost him considerable time and effort.
