Ch. 2241The Myriad Treasures Formation Subdues the Enemy

Ye Han and the Myriad Treasures Formation overpowered the statue and captured the Death-Aura Ghost Shadow with the Ghost Skull Mirror. He discovered a blood-red crystal and a Human Body and Serpent Tail Token inside the statue, leaving their significance unknown.

  • Ye Han, White Fairy, the Medicine Spirit, the Ten-Thousand-Year Water Spirit, and the Snow Sea Dragon King empowered the Myriad Treasures Formation, which battered the statue with attacks of the five elements.
  • Ye Han used both Purple Cauldrons to empower a giant and stomp the statue, crushing it and extinguishing its runes.
  • The Death-Aura Ghost Shadow escaped the formation, but the Ghost Skull Mirror appeared and attacked it with gold-and-silver skulls.
  • The skulls weakened the Death-Aura Ghost Shadow and dragged it into the Ghost Skull Mirror, where they began tearing into it.
  • Ye Han found a blood-red crystal stone and a Human Body and Serpent Tail Token inside the crushed statue, and sensed that the crystal had made the Purple Cauldron tremble.

Ch. 2242Heaven-Mending Stone

After killing the statue inside his Purple Cauldron Space, Ye Han examined the treasures it left behind and discovered that a blood-red crystal strengthened his Purple Cauldron. The statue’s token then reacted, causing the enormous lake to churn as Ye Han looked for a way across.

  • Saint As, the Immortal-Thief Outsider Race member, and Bai Daozi asked Ye Han about the commotion, and he told them he had killed a troublesome opponent.
  • Ye Han recovered the Thunderclap and Heaven-Breaking Hammers, a matched pair of thunder-attribute Heaven-Connecting Spirit Treasures, from the statue.
  • Ye Han suspected the blood-red crystal was a legendary heaven-mending stone and fed it to his own Purple Cauldron, strengthening its aura and improving its ability to absorb and recover spiritual energy.
  • Ye Han examined the token depicting a human body with a serpent tail and wondered whether it could help him cross the enormous lake.
  • The token suddenly radiated scorching energy and mysterious runes as the lake began churning, revealing a sight that delighted Ye Han.

Ch. 2243Endless Bridge

Ye Han used the Token to raise a bridge across the dangerous lake and sprinted over it, hoping to reach a fortuitous opportunity. When the bridge began sinking behind him and chasing him forward, he accelerated with Ninefold Lightness and swallowed pills to keep running.

  • Ye Han's Token flew into the lake, causing a massive bridge to rise from the water.
  • Ye Han tested the bridge with a Metal Puppet, confirmed it did not attack him, and ran onto it using the fourth stage of Ninefold Lightness.
  • As he crossed the lake, Ye Han absorbed the bridge's rich spiritual energy but resisted drawing water from the lake into the Purple Cauldron Space.
  • After Ye Han had run tens of thousands of zhang, the bridge began sinking rapidly behind him and cut off his way back.
  • Ye Han activated the fifth layer's secret method of Ninefold Lightness, swallowed several pills, and sped forward as the bridge sank faster behind him.

Ch. 2244The City Beneath the Lake

Ye Han raced across a sinking bridge over the lake, using a Flying Wing Talisman and the Purple Cauldron’s newly restored ability to absorb spiritual energy to keep going. He reached a palace on a platform at the lake’s center and entered as it began to sink, where he saw something beneath the water that shocked him.

  • Ye Han sprinted across the collapsing bridge, burning through his pills and using a supreme-grade Flying Wing Talisman to increase his speed.
  • The Purple Cauldron began absorbing surrounding spiritual energy, replenishing its aura and helping Ye Han sustain his spell power.
  • Ye Han reached a vast palace on a platform in the middle of the lake and found no way onward except through its entrance.
  • The Purple Cauldron stopped absorbing energy after rapidly replenishing itself, while the platform began to tremble and sink.
  • Ye Han rushed into the palace as its gates shut and rune-lit barriers kept the lake water out.
  • As the palace descended beneath the lake, Ye Han saw something that shocked him.

Ch. 2245The Small Pagoda?!

Ye Han reached the Lakebed Palace beneath the lake, harvested rare ten-thousand-year water spirit flowers, and discovered that a strange aura could erode his mind. After searching empty palaces, he arrived at the Small Pagoda, where both Purple Cauldrons began to tremble.

  • Ye Han saw the vast Lakebed Palace and the dangerous ghostly beings surrounding it as the palace settled at the bottom of the lake.
  • Ye Han harvested several hundred ten-thousand-year water spirit flowers and transplanted them into the Purple Cauldron Space.
  • Ye Han noticed he had become disoriented, then used Dao Follows Nature to dispel gray vapor and resist an aura attacking his divine soul and will.
  • Ye Han began searching the palaces one by one and found one completely empty.
  • Ye Han reached the foot of the Small Pagoda, and both Purple Cauldrons began trembling.

Ch. 2246Halt! Present Your Passage Token!

Ye Han entered the Small Pagoda after destroying its serpent-warrior guardians and their evil spirits, following the Purple Cauldrons’ signal toward a treasure inside. At the stairs, a warning consciousness demanded a Passage Token, which Ye Han did not have.

  • Ye Han noticed that both Purple Cauldrons reacted to the Small Pagoda and sensed something valuable in a distant, restriction-protected palace.
  • Ye Han attacked the two half-human, half-serpent statues guarding the Small Pagoda and smashed them with the Thunderous Five-Element Golden Cudgel.
  • Two evil spirits emerged from the shattered statues, but Ye Han destroyed them with the Thunderclap Heaven-Breaking Hammers’ demon-breaking divine thunder.
  • Ye Han entered the empty hall and headed for the stairs, believing the treasure the Purple Cauldrons sensed lay higher in the pagoda.
  • A golden war-general consciousness appeared and demanded Ye Han present a Passage Token, which he did not have.

Ch. 2247The Fourth Layer!!

Ye Han used the Ghost Skull Mirror’s Death-Aura Ghost Shadow to break the Staircase Restrictions and gathered unfinished treasures and rare materials from the Second and Third Layers. He entered the Fourth Layer, where the bare stone pillar suddenly vibrated as soon as he stepped inside.

  • Ye Han released the Death-Aura Ghost Shadow, whose Divine Soul Aura caused the Restriction on the Staircase to collapse.
  • Ye Han climbed to the Second Layer and stored its half-finished treasures in the Purple Cauldron Space for his Clone to refine.
  • Ye Han gathered the rare Heavenly Treasures, ores, and materials from the Third Layer.
  • Ye Han released the Ghost Skull Mirror’s Death-Aura Ghost Shadow again to open the Restriction leading to the Fourth Layer.
  • Ye Han found only a bare stone pillar on the Fourth Layer, then triggered its vibration by stepping inside.

Ch. 2248Fellow Daoist! Please wait!!

Ye Han absorbed a hidden Purple Cauldron Shadow on the Fourth Layer, strengthening both Purple Cauldrons and accelerating the growth of their plants and fruit. When he approached the Fifth Layer, Zhang Qingshan warned that entering would mean certain death, so Ye Han turned back, only to hear a strange voice call after him.

  • A Purple Cauldron Shadow entered Ye Han’s two Purple Cauldrons and strengthened them, increasing their aura capacity and speeding the growth of their plants and fruit.
  • Ye Han headed for the staircase to the Fifth Layer, where a restriction formed the figure of a human-form female cultivator and ordered him to halt.
  • Zhang Qingshan warned Ye Han that entering the Fifth Layer would bring certain death, explaining that their fates were linked while he cultivated in Ye Han’s secret realm.
  • Ye Han trusted Zhang Qingshan and turned away from the Fifth Layer.
  • A strange voice called, “Fellow Daoist! Please wait!!”

Ch. 2249There Had to Be Something Fishy

Ye Han spoke with a cultivator sealed inside a restriction, who promised a Body Integration Realm opportunity in exchange for being rescued. Though he suspected her offer was a trap, he accepted the map she revealed while keeping his own means of opening restrictions secret.

  • The sealed woman told Ye Han that she was a cultivator trapped in the Three Heavens and explained that the Three Heavens' beings came from beyond the heavens.
  • The woman promised to lead Ye Han to an opportunity to reach the Body Integration Realm if he freed her, and she claimed only she could find it.
  • Ye Han pretended to be tempted but remained wary, reasoning that the woman might be seeking his body or his life.
  • Ye Han said he could not open the restriction with his current abilities and concealed that the Death-Aura Ghost Shadow in his Ghost Skull Mirror could open restrictions.
  • The woman revealed a map of the Underwater Divine Palace and said its Golden Spirit Hall held the token needed to open the restriction.

Ch. 2250Divine Palace Map

Ye Han obtained a map of the Underwater Divine Palace and warnings about its dangers from a female figure sealed inside the Small Pagoda, but he resolved not to free her. He followed the map to a treasure-sensing palace and found it protected by golden restrictions and Spell-Cultivator Divine Race statues.

  • Ye Han asked the sealed female figure about the Underwater Divine Palace, and she warned him about soul restrictions, stone guards, Spell-Cultivator Divine Race statues, and golden restrictions.
  • The female figure told Ye Han to find the Golden Spirit Hall and bring her a token, while keeping secret that she knew how to open the Heavenly Gate.
  • After leaving the Small Pagoda, Ye Han judged the female figure to be extremely dangerous and suspected her map was incomplete, but kept it for guidance.
  • Ye Han chose to follow the Purple Cauldron's treasure sense instead of heading directly to the distant Golden Spirit Hall.
  • Ye Han reached a great hall surrounded by Divine Race guard statues, with a huge Spell-Cultivator Divine Race figure and golden defensive restrictions guarding it.

Ch. 2251A Woman's Words Couldn't Be Trusted

Ye Han decided to enter the Great Hall despite the woman's warning, believing the Purple Cauldrons' reaction signaled a valuable treasure and that Zhang Qingshan's prediction meant he would not face certain death. After spending seven or eight days preparing a plan, he sent his Clone and White Fairy toward the hall and moved to carry it out himself.

  • Ye Han questioned Zhang Qingshan about the danger, and Zhang Qingshan sensed neither fortune nor disaster.
  • Ye Han concluded the woman's warning was unreliable and resolved to pursue the treasure inside the Great Hall.
  • Ye Han studied the hall for seven or eight days, then prepared formations, Formation Beads, his Clone, and White Fairy for his plan.
  • Ye Han sent his Clone and White Fairy charging toward the Great Hall while he concealed his presence and raced out to carry out the plan.

Ch. 2252Plan before acting!!

Ye Han’s clone and White Fairy lured the awakened Spell-Cultivator Divine Race member and Guardian Divine Race members into a formation. They reinforced it with Formation Beads, trapping the pursuers behind rising, freezing earthen walls as the guardians attacked.

  • Ye Han’s clone and White Fairy struck the statue with a combined yin-yang sword attack, awakening it and the Guardian Divine Race members.
  • The Spell-Cultivator Divine Race member blocked the attack, and more than a hundred guardians charged at the clone and White Fairy.
  • The clone and White Fairy fled beyond the plaza, drawing their pursuers into a vast formation that filled with mist.
  • The guardians absorbed spiritual energy to thin the mist, but the clone and White Fairy added Formation Beads to strengthen the formation.
  • The formation raised restrictive barriers and freezing earthen walls around the pursuers, who began bombarding the walls with their spears.

Ch. 2253A Formation Traps the Divine Race

Ye Han trapped the Guardian Divine Race warriors in sticky mud and prepared the Palace with formations and barricades. He reached the Great Hall, but the Golden-Light Restriction did not open.

  • Ye Han’s clone and White Fairy used sticky mud and a formation to immobilize the Guardian Divine Race warriors and slow the spell-cultivator warrior.
  • Ye Han activated more than a thousand Formation Beads to create the Thousand-Layer Formation around the Palace, blocking and absorbing spiritual energy.
  • Ye Han dropped enormous Metal Blocks across the Palace gates and weighed them down with Gravity Talismans, trapping the warriors hiding behind them.
  • Ye Han set up more formations and talismans outside the Great Hall, then used the Ghost Skull Mirror and Death-Aura Ghost Shadow against its restriction.
  • The Golden-Light Restriction remained closed, thwarting Ye Han’s attempt to enter the Great Hall.

Ch. 2254Could it be the Body Integration Realm?!

Ye Han forced the Great Hall’s restriction open by making the Death-Aura Ghost Shadow burn its aura, then used Thunder Escape to enter. Inside, he sensed an overwhelming presence as enemies broke free behind him and the Purple Cauldron began pushing toward the hall.

  • Ye Han made the Death-Aura Ghost Shadow burn its death aura and repeatedly crash into the Great Hall’s golden restriction.
  • The restriction reacted to the Ghost Shadow’s distress signal and opened, allowing Ye Han to slip inside with Thunder Escape.
  • Ye Han sensed a power more formidable than any he had encountered in the Three Heavens and wondered if its source had reached the Body Integration Realm.
  • Ye Han’s clone and White Fairy warned him that the Guardian Divine Race and Spell-Cultivator Divine Race members had broken free and were attacking the Thousand-Layer Formation.
  • The Purple Cauldron violently shook inside Ye Han’s Divine Sense Sea, and Ye Han decided to press on despite the danger.

Ch. 2255Those Who Intrude into the Divine Temple! Die!

Ye Han entered the Divine Temple and confronted a powerful warrior of the Spell-Cultivator Divine Race guarding the Imperial Throne. The warrior attacked him with a golden halberd, and their weapons clashed as the Great Hall shook.

  • Ye Han charged toward the Great Hall, where a demonic beast silhouette attacked him, but he destroyed it with demon-breaking divine thunder.
  • Ye Han entered the Great Hall and found a burly, serpent-tailed warrior of the Spell-Cultivator Divine Race standing beside an empty Imperial Throne.
  • Ye Han sensed that the Purple Cauldrons were reacting to something behind the throne.
  • The warrior awakened, declared that intruders into the Divine Temple must die, and unleashed a three-eyed ghost shadow that staggered Ye Han's divine souls.
  • Ye Han stabilized his divine souls with the Soul Suppression Divine Art and met the warrior's halberd strike with his Thunderous Five-Element Golden Cudgel.

Ch. 2256A Tough Opponent!

Ye Han fought a martial general of the Spell-Cultivator Divine Race in the Great Hall, finding himself outmatched in strength and unable to win through spell-power attrition. He used his twin divine souls and the Purple Cauldron’s ability to replenish their aura to overcome the martial general’s resistance, then drew the enemy’s divine soul into his Divine Soul Space to pursue what the Purple Cauldron wanted.

  • The martial general drove Ye Han back with a blow, then attacked him with a storm of golden halberd shadows as the Great Hall’s restrictions absorbed the clash.
  • Ye Han blocked the martial general’s attacks with his Thunderous Five-Element Golden Cudgel, but rapidly depleted the aura in his two Purple Cauldrons and realized he could not win an attrition battle.
  • Ye Han unleashed Divine Soul Devouring with both divine souls, starting a divine soul contest with the martial general and the Death-Aura Ghost Shadow.
  • Ye Han replenished his divine soul aura with purple cauldron aura, overpowered the martial general’s divine soul, and pulled it into his Divine Soul Space.
  • Ye Han’s twin divine souls battled the martial general’s soul inside the Divine Soul Space as Ye Han sought what the Purple Cauldron wanted.

Ch. 2257Encountering the Purple Metal Rune Again

Ye Han absorbed a powerful purple metal rune into the Purple Cauldron, which strengthened his abilities and helped him resist the Third Heaven’s gravity. The martial general escaped Ye Han’s Divine Soul Space and attacked, leaving Ye Han searching for a way to defeat him as their battle continued.

  • Ye Han used the Purple Cauldron to shatter the imperial throne and absorb the purple metal rune hidden inside it.
  • The rune strengthened the Purple Cauldron, reduced the cost of restoring Ye Han’s divine soul aura, and began improving his divine souls, spell power, and physical strength.
  • The martial general’s divine soul opened its third eye and forced its way out of Ye Han’s Divine Soul Space, returning to its body.
  • The martial general attacked Ye Han with his painted halberd, while Ye Han used Ninefold Lightness, Light-Escape Step, and the Thunderous Five-Element Golden Cudgel to evade and block the blows.
  • Ye Han considered trapping the martial general in the Purple Cauldron Space or using the Absolute Frost Divine Sword, but rejected both options and chose to follow his original plan.

Ch. 2258Retreat Was the Best Strategy!!

Ye Han escaped the Great Hall with a Teleportation Talisman after the divine cultivator sealed the doors, but the cultivator wounded him with a final strike. After healing in a nearby Side Hall, Ye Han heard a tremendous explosion from the Great Hall and turned to investigate.

  • Ye Han tried to flee the Great Hall, but the divine cultivator shut its doors and trapped him inside.
  • Ye Han evaded the divine cultivator's halberd attacks with the Thunder Escape Technique and teleported away, though the final strike wounded his back.
  • The divine cultivator watched Ye Han disappear, then struck the lingering teleportation space with his halberd and opened a Spatial Rift.
  • Ye Han emerged in a Side Hall, swallowed pills to recover and heal, and retrieved his Formation Beads.
  • A staggering explosion shook the Great Hall, and Ye Han looked toward it in alarm.

Ch. 2259Proceed with caution!

Ye Han escaped after the halberd-wielding spell cultivator awakened the guardians and ordered them to hunt outsiders. He sought another possible opportunity, but hid when the Great Guandao-wielding spell cultivator opened a guarded Great Hall and released two spear-wielding spell cultivators.

  • The halberd-wielding spell cultivator emerged from the Great Hall, ordered the guardians and spell cultivators to kill outsiders, and sent them searching for Ye Han and his companions.
  • Ye Han fled in concealment, abandoned his plan to visit the Golden Spirit Hall, and headed toward locations on his map that might contain a major opportunity or the Heavenly Gate of the Three Heavens.
  • Guardians and spell cultivators poured out of the Side Halls after the metal blocks barring their doors toppled away.
  • The halberd-wielding spell cultivator looked toward the Small Pagoda and decided to find out whether the woman inside was still alive.
  • Ye Han reached another Great Hall and hid when the Great Guandao-wielding spell cultivator arrived with dozens of guardians.
  • The Great Guandao-wielding spell cultivator awakened the petrified guardians and used a golden Token to remove the Great Hall's restriction, releasing two spear-wielding spell cultivators.

Ch. 2260General Lu and Xue Chan

Ye Han realized the golden token held by a Spell-Cultivator Divine Race warrior could help him stop more warriors from being released, so he secretly followed the warrior. Meanwhile, General Lu reached Xue Chan’s prison and promised to rescue her, while learning that Ye Han had already visited her and taken a different path than she advised.

  • A Great Guandao-wielding Spell-Cultivator Divine Race warrior used a golden token to release two spear-wielding warriors and send them and Guardian Divine Race warriors to absorb Heaven and Earth Spiritual Energy.
  • Ye Han considered stealing the token to limit the number of released warriors and gain access to golden-restricted palaces, then concealed himself and followed the Great Guandao wielder.
  • General Lu entered a hall and found that Ye Han had already taken the item from its central table.
  • General Lu spoke with Xue Chan through her prison’s restriction, promised to rescue her, and learned that she had given Ye Han maps and directed him to the Golden Spirit Hall for the restriction token.
  • Xue Chan reproached Ye Han for ignoring her warning about golden restrictions and asked General Lu how he would free her and deal with the still-living enemy.
