For a moment, everything fell silent.
Lady Blood Cloak stared stiffly at the daughter in her arms, who had suddenly spoken. "D-Daddy? Didn't you say she doesn't have a sense of self right now? Why is she calling you Daddy?"
Lynn struggled to keep his composure.
"Well... I'm not really sure myself..."
That cry of "Daddy" really had left him at a loss.
But there was no doubt that this girl was a sweet, well-behaved child. Before she had even recovered her ability to think, the first thing out of her mouth had been to claim a godfather. Clearly, she had a bright future ahead of her.
Under normal circumstances, though, it really shouldn't have happened this quickly...
He had just said there was no way she could recover her cognitive abilities so soon. Wasn't this a direct slap in the face?
Suddenly.
He froze.
It was as though something had suddenly clicked.
Could it be...?
Something stirred in his mind. Then, as though trying to test a theory, he grabbed his own (beep-).
Lady Blood Cloak: "???"
Then, with a pop, he pulled it off.
Lady Blood Cloak: "(ΩДΩ)!!"
Under Lady Blood Cloak's stunned gaze, Lynn kneaded that lump of flesh a little, then tossed it onto the wall beside him.
Off you go!

Splat-
Immediately.
The girl's gaze was drawn straight to that lump of flesh. Then, as though acting on instinct, she spoke again in bewilderment.
"Daddy?"
Lynn: "..."
Lady Blood Cloak: "(꒪Д꒪)ノ!!"
An incredibly strange silence settled over them.
Lady Blood Cloak couldn't even process what had happened. Her head buzzed. The scene was simply too depraved and bizarre; no words could describe what he had just done.
Lynn took a deep breath, pinched his Monocle, and said calmly:
"I think I understand now."
