Blood Saw asked with no small amount of concern.
Madam Doll folded her arms primly and glanced at him. "I've been watching the whole time. That being left hours ago. But I really never imagined a Stitching Monster like you could raise such a badass apprentice."
Blood Saw frowned, the Razor slung over his shoulder. "Nothing to do with me. I don't know how he got acquainted with a being on that level, either. I've only been away from the shop for a few days..."
Madam Doll raised her head and looked at the battered shop door in the distance.
"We're here."
She spoke firmly.
She secretly clenched her hands.
It would be such a waste for an outstanding young man like him to stay in this godforsaken place.
Whatever happened,
she would get to know him first.
Make a good impression.
Then, one step at a time, she would slowly introduce her daughters to this handsome young fellow.
Soon,
they arrived at the entrance to the Bloodsaw Apothecary.
"Shall we go straight in?" Madam Doll raised an eyebrow.
Blood Saw chuckled. "No! My apprentice is very devoted to his duties. Before I left, I told him to watch the shop, so he'll definitely guard it conscientiously. If we go in without announcing ourselves, my apprentice will attack us outright."
The thought filled him with pride.
This was the Dark World, after all.
More importantly, after just a few days apart, his apprentice had already become someone he had to see in a new light.
If that Headhunter really had left him some powerful item, wouldn't walking straight in mean getting seriously hurt?
As he spoke,
he walked proudly up to the door and knocked three times.
He shouted toward the attic.
"Apprentice! Your teacher's back! Open the door!"
